Dr. Zachary Leiner

Zachary Leiner, D.D.S.
Dr. Leiner has been with Dental Associates for 37 years and practices in the Skyline and Tysons offices. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but he especially enjoys using his craft in endodontics (root canals). He believes strongly in continuing education and as a result is constantly taking courses to keep up with modern techniques.
By doing only “necessary dentistry, “Dr. Leiner builds the trust that is essential to the patient/doctor relationship. “It’s critical that we, as dentists, really listen to our patients and find out what they want”. He always makes a special effort to ensure his patients understand the goals of their treatment and the process that will be involved to get there.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Leiner graduated from Brooklyn College with a BS and received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. In 1972, he and his family moved to Northern Virginia and he became a partner in what has become Dental Associates.
…In addition to his work in private practice, Dr. Leiner served as associate professor of operative dentistry at Georgetown University, and has been active in the community as well. For the past thirty years, he has given his time to work with a half way house serving mentally challenged women.
Dr. Leiner’s two children are practicing attorneys in Virginia. In his spare time, he enjoys working with wood creating bowls, furniture and other crafts.
