Dr. Patel was terrific. I had stenosis in C5-7 causing mobility issues. Dr. Patel was warm/caring/comforting in his diagnosis/followup and skilled in surgery. He made sure I understood the diagnosis, surgery, and post surgery recovery process. He was in my recovery room to check on me the night of surgery and again first thing the morning after. His staff was professional and punctual from initial consult thru recovery appointments. I am grateful for his medical care.

Dr. Patel is a great surgeon with an excellent "bed side manner". He treated me for a bone spur at C5/C6. The spur was pinching a nerve causing pain and numbness in my right arm, hand and shoulder. My situation may be unique, but the moment I woke up from surgery the pain was gone. Every visit, he listened to my concerns and was prompt to act. He made sure I understood what was happening, why and what to expect next. His office is very good at following up with appointment reminders and making sure I was ready for surgery. This is the person and team you want operating on your neck.

Dr. Patel is a phenomenal surgeon. I am a retired Marine and had compressed deterioration of the spine which caused pain as well as loss of feeling in my right leg. I had surgery in Florida and a fusion about six years prior to Dr. Patel. I developed other debilitating issues which caused drooping left leg and falling down. I was refereed to Dr. Patel not knowing anything about him and being a second attempt with my back was met with skepticism. I was afraid of what the outcome might have been. I met with Dr. Patel and he explained the procedure taking out the old device and putting in the new. I agreed because the alternative would have eventually been a wheelchair. I have fully recovered over the past year and have a new lease on life. Golfing, hunting what ever I want to doe at 62 years old. I am true;y blessed to have Dr. Patel as my surgeon. I trust him without question. highly RECOMMEND!

Dr Patel is brilliant. And he saved my life when I broke my neck. He is an expert neurosurgeon with a kind bedside manner, positive and professional approach to patients, and willingness to be transparent in diagnosis, treatment and follow through.

Dr. Neal Patel was so great with me. After trying other procedures first, it came down to surgery. He explained clearly what would happen or could happen. He said there could be much pain for awhile afterward. After the surgery I had minor backache and no incision pain. No heavy painkillers that I am aware of and I mostly refused Tylenol. Not only a good surgeon, but easy to talk to as well! My life is greatly improved after surgery! 5 Star!
