I am not saying he’s a bad person and maybe he’s a good doctor. But when I was 23 in June 2023 I started experiencing symptoms of hypertension and pitting edema. I went to the hospital did bloodwork. My kidney function was off so I went to Dr. Gibb’s the next day. He told me verbatim that I was going to be OK and it was going to go away, my mother who is an RN told him I should see a nephrologist. He totally dismissed me and her. This went on for months until October 2023 and finally said I should get a biopsy now I have to get a kidney transplant and I fully blame him because something could’ve been done sooner. Please don’t ever go to him and there’s a reason why he doesn’t do hands-on care anymore. he just gave me hypertension pills that made me sick and said I was fine. He genuinely didn’t want to do anything about it because he thought he was right and didn’t wanna listen to my mother. Patient advocacy is so important. Please stand up for yourself.

Having spent a considerable amount of time with him, I must admit that my experience has been far from satisfactory. Regrettably, he fails to provide any follow-up on lab or imaging results, showing a complete lack of diligence. In fact, he doesn't bother to reach out to you through mycare or any other means of communication. It is important to note that expecting any form of follow-up from him would be futile. If you seek a healthcare professional who is dedicated to long-term care, I highly doubt that he is the right physician for you. While he may come across as pleasant, it is unfortunate that he consistently falls short when it comes to following up on any kind of results, be it minor or significant.
