Dr. Michael Hawk Cronin, DO

Went to him october 2023 for back pai When I asked about insurance he advised me not to worry insurance would pay for it. So he was billing my insurance and they refused to pay for it so I never heard from them again but did receive a bill. So I sent the check directly to his office in melbourne and not the billing company. Received call from pam on 2/08/2024 stating she would check into it. In the meantime dr cronin resubmitted claim to my insurance company which I called to advise no service would be done by this office. Received call from pam on 2/28/2024 that she had requested refund of 236.67. To date still waiting for refund. I have saved voice mail msg to verify everything I've stated. My advise go elsewhere if this is how they take care of there billing makes me very happy they did not touch me

Dr. Cronin saw me in the Melbourne Fla location, and performed ACDF surgery and lower lumbar fusion in 2021. I was impressed with his patience and knowledge, his thorough explanation of the pros and cons, and what to expect after surgery, should I decide to move forward. I was most impressed with his skill and ability to solve my issues. He was available every step of the way through both procedures, providing advice and solutions to each roadblock that popped up in my recovery process. I was surprised that I did as well as I did post-op, given the hurdles we had to overcome, but am so pleased with the outstanding results. While the lower lumbar surgery took the longest to recover from, I would gladly do it all over again if I had to, in order to have the mobility and freedom from pain that I enjoy now.
