Dr. Orlando Sola, MD

Dr. Sola has been my doctor for 2 years now and I'd recommend him to anyone. Not only is he down to earth, caring and compassionate he treats you like a friend he's known for years vs a patient he doesn't care about. He's called me on his day off, squeezed me in last minute and had heart to heart convos with me where I felt seen, heard and safe. Dr. Sola is a family man who is very connected to his patients and often brings in his own personal stories to relate to you. My best memory of Dr. Sola is us practicing Spanish words together to distract me from a procedure he was doing. I had to change insurances but made sure to still have Dr. Sola as my PCP - I can't say enough good things about this doctor. Trust me on this guy!

He seems smart, but that's about it. Very condescending and rude, treated me and my care like an inconvenience and busywork rather than something important, AND signed me up for several labs I didn't even ask for, leading to exorbitant billing. AND he coded them improperly - providing the wrong code for the labs (which i hadn't even asked for), and billing them MULTIPLE times each. I wanted to get off on a good foot by establishing care in my new city, and walked out feeling like I'd been talked over and disregarded the whole time, then a month later found out the genius who did that also couldn't handle billing codes with any level of competency. This has really turned me off from the Chase Brexton center in general, but hopefully one of their other providers isn't a jerk. If you want someone who will make your visits quick, this is your guy. If you want someone who can treat you with decency, do his job correctly, and not bill you into debt, run far far far far far away.

Dr. Sola is an excellent physician. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. He is super patient and professional. He actually takes the time to listen to what you’re saying and explains everything so clearly. I had a bunch of questions and he answered each one without making me feel rushed or like I was asking too much. His ability to explain complex medical terms in a way that is easy to understand is remarkable. This skill, and his extensive knowledge, made me feel completely at ease and well-informed about my health.

Long wait but Dr. Sola was very detail-orientated and fact-based, explained my health issues in a way that I haven't had from other docs. Also the only doc who gave me his direct line, I think its because its hard to call the front desk but still seems unique. He also placed an IUD for my friend, didn't know primary care docs could do that.

Excellent physician, very thorough and is able to provide convenient and wide-scope of family planning services. He provided his personal office number to me, and is available when I need help. Takes more time to answer my questions and discuss my health then any other physician I have had in the past. The only physician who has called me personally to review lab results, whether normal or abnormal. He also was able to help my mother by offering knee injections for her arthritis, and has connected well with my husband (who avoids all doctors). The clinic setting is sub-optimal, but Dr. Sola has treated my whole family well and I look forward to bringing my children to him for care.

Never have spoken to a physician who was so self absorbed than Doctor Sola. He is condescending, rude and likes to over talk you because he is an MD. I just want him to know that it's okay to not know everything. It's actually really humbling to say to an individual, " I'm not versed in that subject but I will look into it". It does not take anything away from your skill set or knowledge base, it simply says I'm not sure. Humility will serve you well in your continued medical career.
