Dr. Haydel’s approach to determining if I needed surgery was very thorough and took into account any other conditions that could be causing my problem. Once surgery was decided as the course of action, he definitely made me aware of expectations and any potential complications. He and his office staff made me feel very comfortable and my recovery has gone really well.

I had a fracture in my spine and Dr Haydel was able to inject cement in my fracture. Instant pain relief. Very friendly and understanding. Highly recommended.

I went to Dr. Haydel for a second opinion. I was told I needed back surgery for my pain. His staff was friendly and Ochsner website was easy to make an appointment through. Dr Haydel recommended therapy and injections instead and my pain improved. No surgery needed! thank you

Dr. Haydel recently did surgery on my neck. Before surgery I could barely get through the day. Today, I have no pain. He was smart, nice, and made sure I understood everything he was going to do. I hope I don’t’ have to have another surgery but if I did, I would go see him again.

Dr. Haydel is a wonderful doctor. I saw him recently in Baton Rouge at Ochsner. His staff was friendly, I didn't have to wait, and he spent 30 minutes talking to me about my condition. Surgery went great, and I am in no pain...finally!
