Doctor explained the procedure to be done if and when that happens and that many on active surveillance are on a similar schedule as I am.

My negative comments refer to the nurse I interacted with. She is rude, not patient to people without English, as native language. Omn the opposite is Doctor Johnson, he is awesome

I wasn't fully aware of the hearing-loss potential of the chemotherapy, but that is my fault for not wanting to read about the side effects, and deal with them as they came. I guess the potential of any permanent side effects would be nice to be informed of in person. It may have changed my mind about receiving the treatment, but probably not. My doctor made a good call to stop it when we did (at three doses), but I am left with some hearing loss and tinitus in both ears. Another thing to note, is that I was not shown how to draw material out of my Neobladder before leaving the hospital. It was, however, mentioned it in the literature that I was given. I left the hospital much earlier than expected, so maybe we didn't reach the point where I should start that yet. In general, I am very impressed by the level of care I received, and am extremely grateful.

Dr Johnson did an excellent job treating my prostate cancer. I would recommend him to anyone facing a similar problem.
