If I ever need another surgery in the future, Dr. Carreira and his team will be the people I call. From the very beginning, I felt supported and cared for. There’s something truly special about the way Dr. Carreira and his team work together. As a patient, you feel that unity and trust, and it makes all the difference. What I’m most grateful for is the honest push Dr. Carreira gave me toward a healthier life. When I was first told I would need surgery, I also learned that in order to safely move forward, I would need to lose close to 100 pounds. That could have been a moment of defeat, but instead, it became the turning point. I realized I could either use that moment to change, or continue living in pain and poor health. Dr. Carreira never made me feel judged. He helped me see the bigger picture, and because of that, I made the changes I needed to. Looking back, I can’t imagine having gone through surgery at my heaviest. The outcome would have been different, and I’m thankful he… cared enough to wait until my body was truly ready. Not every doctor is willing to have those hard conversations, but he did it with compassion and sincerity. I originally went in to fix my hip, but I walked out with a whole new life. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Carreira—not just for the surgery, but for believing I could do the work and come out stronger on the other side.

Dr Carreira is awesome! He took on my issue of a severely injured hamstring and was open, honest and direct in explaining things. He went the extra mile bringing in a neuro-surgeon to help make sure all the bases were covered. He and his team were great to deal with both pre and post surgery and I am now well on my way to recovery. Thanks Dr Carreira!

If you’re looking for the BEST of the BEST in Hip Arthroscopy Dr. Carreira and his team, are by far the most professional, charismatic, group of doctors I have encountered. Had a few procedures on my hips due to an accident, and still under care. Surgery was like breathing life back into me and saved me from the pain! If you’re having serious pain in your hips, you do not have to live like that! Dr. Carreira is very particular and very meticulous: had no deep bruising or anything of the sorts after surgery, very minimal scarring as well. Would highly recommend Dr. Carreira and his team at Peachtree Orthopedics and will use them, as well as recommend them in the future.

Totally satisfied with everyone involved in my care. Dr Carreira not only treated my injury but also discovered a problem I was unaware of. He prescribed an orthotic device which improved the way I walk …and my dance moves!

Dr. Carreira performed a fusion of my big toe joint to correct hallux rigidus in February 2023. The surgery was very successful and I now have complete mobility with no pain. Dr. Carreira and the entire team at Peachtree Orthopedics was first class.

Dr. Carreira is extremely good. I have seen him for several things plus a surgery. I found him to very thorough and answered all my questions. I also want to note that he is an excellent surgeon who has not once pushed surgery on me and gives the non surgical options first to be applied. Additionally he has a great support team

Doctor was not thorough and did not follow proper protocol according to another provider. He even put things in my notes that he discussed with me that he had not discussed. Run away from this man.

I was optimistic going into to having hip surgery but didn't want to get my Hopes up. I had planned on settling for less pain and to stop falling. I had a 42 year old injury that had gotten worse every year. I've spent years managing the pain and a full year searching for what I thought would be a great fit as far as a doctor I felt I could trust to do surgery. I spoke with many! I had a labrum reconstruction. Initially I was in severe pain but promised to follow his therapy protocol to perfection. I followed every detail. At my 90 day check-in, I'm basically pain-free for the first time in almost 43 years and my hip feels strong! I stepped on it in a way, in the past would have thrown me to the ground. I was pleasantly surprised, the hip held and barely felt a pinch! I do get sore if I do too much but it's only been 90 days. I know it will take a full year to heal but I'm truly excited to say I am back to a normal hip! It doesn't feel real. The guy is a hip God as far as I'm… concerned. I'm very happy I did my research and chose Dr. Carreira. It was worth the year I spent searching for a Dr. I could trust. I couldn't be happier and look forward to life without the fear of falling or severe pain!

Gradar advise to avoid further discomfort on my feet! Love the inserts that I got , also decide to get some of the other things recommended, and make a change on shoes that I wear !
