Dr. Jesse Thomas Hochkeppel, MD

Off-putting arrogant piece of work, who fails to follow through on commitments and who simply can't be reached at all. Office completely unresponsive for over a week.

Dr Hochkeppel is a great Dr he understands pain and try's everything to help he has been treating me for severe back pain he leaves no stone unturned he takes his time to explain what he is going to do to help stop the pain I had 5 back surgeries in 10 years. Io me he is great ! Ken M.

Dr. Hochkepple is extremely accurate when he injects me. I have 4 areas that he treats and I am painfree after I have procedures done. Having had many injections over my 62 years, this Doctor is a notch above the rest.

Dr. H was extremely kind and thorough. I was very fearful of having an injection, but he quickly calmed my fears. He spent more time with me than any other of the specialists I have seen, and went out of his way to make sure I understood all the details of my condition and prognosis. I highly recommend him.

I waited less than 5 minutes from the time I walked into the office door to see Dr. H. Then, he spent more time with me than any of the other docs I have seen (a lot!) for my spinal stenosis. He went over the images with me on the computer, showed me again on a model in his office, and came up with a treatment plan that suited my needs (which was no injections because I have had bad experiences with OTHER docs). He was so empathetic and I would recommend him to anyone.

I saw Dr. Hotchkeppel for pain in my back that caused me to stop walking. I couldn't sit, walk or stand...it was a very rough tine for me but let me tell you he is amazing!! I went to his office in a wheelchair and in tears I had an injection that same day and I walked out of there like nothing had happened. I did end up having spinal surgery 6 months later with Dr. Paul but after 3 months of surgery I developed pain again. I thought I would have needed surgery again and I went to see Dr. Hotchkeppel first and he actually found out through my mri that I had fluid in my L3 joint due to healing of my surgery and I had the injection in my joint and I am very impressed with the knowledge he has because I have been pain free for 2 months. Dr. Hochkeppel had a fixed idea as to how to treat my very painful case of shingles. I felt being pressured into spinal injections. He prescribed an epidural which I learned was inappropriate for me. Another specialist cured me with an oral drug and my research revealed that the spinal catheter approach would have some risk, particularly at my age. And why go there when the oral med cured me? I suspect that the epidural with injections is far more lucrative for this practice than simply prescribing a med.

I was very nervous to have an epidural for my sciatica, but Dr. H was so kind and understanding. He completely calmed me and did a fantastic job.
