He is great in the office but I had a fever after outpatient surgery. I called the nurse but never had a follow up call. He has also canceled my follow up appt 3 times now. I’m giving up and going to a different doctor.

My husband and I went in today for our 20 week anatomy scan. The ultrasound went great and it was so exciting to see our growing baby. Unfortunately, we had our consult with a different doctor. He walks in, sits down and precedes to go on and on about the risks of obese pregnancy. When he asked about genetic testing, I said "We have chosen not to test, and that was discussed at our first appointment." We then get the lecture about how dangerous our decision was. And he used scary scenarios to get his point across. Finally, I get a word in and ask about the results of the anatomy scan. He simply said "oh yeah, your baby is healthy, 50th percentile." And then goes back to my weight. I was in tears and then he left. I had no time to ask any other questions, concerns. I feel we did not learn anything about the health of our child. My regular OB, let me know the risks of both subjects, but was very respectful of our decisions and my size (I weigh 215lbs.). I have LOST 15 pounds in my 20 weeks of pregnancy, and my regular OB says this loss along with my other tests are normal. I try to eat a well balanced diet, since becoming pregnant, and we believe that is the cause for Weightloss. Not happy with our visit with Dr. Sierra.
