Dr. Gordon Preston grew up in North East Ohio, graduating from Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School in 2007. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2011. Following college, he obtained a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. After graduation, he completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio in 2020.
He then completed his final year of training in spine surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan in 2021. He is now in practice at Akron General Hospital, where he specializes in spine surgery. He provides care in minimally invasive spine surgery, degenerative condition, spine trauma, spine tumors, and spinal deformity.
