Dr. Abraham Anthony Chamely, MD

Dr Chamely was referred to me, in the hope of changing my life, and yrs, he did. After far too many years of being over- medicated to treat 2 types of seizures, he trusted the science, his experience and wisdom then began with a simpler approach. After coming off a few weeks of life support, it was a godsend for this man to take me from 32 years of daily seizures to now, where I can throughout a week to have a day or two, (sometimes 3 days in a row ) with NO seizures at all. If you have a seizure disorder or epilepsy, he is definitely someone in Fort Lauderdale that you would want to see. I understand he may be retiring soon so he is definitely someone who you'd want to consult with sooner than later. I trust that he puts me incapable hands and they keep me on the same regimen, or perhaps better though I can't imagine it being any better because this is good enough for me .. all of my doctors and friends notice such a difference and it is a wonderful experience to have some… seizure-free days with just the tweaking of some medication and not over-doing the regimen. I can't tell you how wonderful he is... you would have to have a scary condition that other doctors are afraid of... I CAN tell you that this world needs more doctors like him. My last doctor would only listen about my rare neuro condition, but refused to talk about it. When I moved to South Florida, Dr. Chamely actually made me so comfortable that I walked out smiling. He's a true gift... if you are so lucky to be treated by him, you will feel you are in good and skilled hands.

Don't ever try this so called doctor he does not care about the patients , all he cares is about his image.

I took my mom to see Dr Chamely for her neuropathy based on reviews I had read. The great reviews were spot on; Dr Chamely is a fantastic doctor ! From listening to her very closely, to a very thorough exam, and a full , easy to understand explanation of her condition and possible treatments, with warmth and compassion, Dr Chamely is everything an excellent doctor can be.

Dr Chamely understands how a Doctor should interact with a patient. He asks questions , he listens for your answers, and he take takes his time in getting to know who you are as a patient. He’s truly a fantastic neurologist.

I have seen Dr Chamely for over 10 years and he has always been kind, ready to listen, compassionate and caring. He is extremely knowledgeable and up to date with all current medical treatments. I cannot say enough about how much he has helped me over the years. He is truly a remarkable doctor!

I started going to Dr. Chamely for headaches and he diagnose me with severe and chronic migraines and assured me he would do all he could to he get rid of the headaches. He took his time with me and listened and did a very thorough examine. He is a very humble and kind Doctor. I would recommend anyone to him.

HE REALLY IS WILLING TO SPEND THE EXTRA TIME WITH PATIENTS. I MOVED AND AM WILLING TO TRAVEL THE 3 HOURS JUST TO SEE HIM. NO ONE LIKE HIM.

I have been to more Doctors than I care to admit and when I met Dr Chamely, he was like a breath of fresh air. He is an intent listener and most practical. He explains everything so that it is understandable and genuine. I left a lot more knowledgeable and at ease than when I walked in. I have some ways to go to get better, but i feel that with Dr Chamley at the helm I am in better hands. There is no ego here, just love for his occupation and patients.
