Dr. Adam W Shunk, PhD

Dr Shunk took a significant amount of time to listen to everything our family has been through since our daughter sustained a concussion. He did a thorough evaluation and then was able to explain the effects of concussion as well as other factors that were treatable. We saw significant improvement in our daughter's life and she loved the care she received.

Dr. Shunk was very rude and disrespectful. We went to see him as a referral from our concussion specialist in Cobb County so that my son could get ways to help study. Since his concussion he has had serious attention issues. Right from the beginning, Dr. Shunk made it apparent that he thought it was all in our head and there was nothing wrong with my child. He believed my son was being lazy. I explained that before the concussion we had no problems with completing school work but afterwards he cannot focus for more than 15 minutes. He insisted my son was lazy. I would never recommend him and in fact tell people to stay away from him. He doesn't listen, makes his conclusion within a minute or two of meeting you despite other doctors concern that my son needed help.
