Dr. Akinwunmi Olatokunbo Ojo-Carons, MD

I love Dr. Ojo. He always explains things in layman's terms. He always asks about my little boy and husband. He always gives me his undivided attention when he comes in the room, and when I see him in the hall, he always stops to say hello. I know he's super busy. But its those little things. When I call in, having a new concern or a continuing one either him or his nurse calls me back same day or next day, depending on how late I called, and if its a surgery day or not. He is always so empathic with everything going on, makes me feel understood. And he gets my treatments right. I'm not the average person and what works for you, won't work for me. Lol. I love that he doesn't get annoyed at having to think outside the box

Recently, Dr. Ojo-Carons performed a cystoscope on me to detect any abnormalities. My concerns were intense due to the fact that I had several in the past from other physicians and they never went well. This experience was completely different. Dr. Ojo made me feel at ease and the procedure was completely uneventful. I had no issues with pain or bleeding after my procedure. R. Day

Dr. Ojo-Carons made me feel so at peace about the procedure he had to preform. He explained everything in layman's terms. The day of the procedure he again explained the procedure and had great bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

After I was refferred else where I had to wait until I could get health insurance because I couldn’t afford to keep paying out of pocket. I was in extreme pain and simply wanted to know if he could prescribe more antibiotics could not get an answer from Dr. Ojo-Carons. I was very offended because I had requested him specifically. I could have taken no for an answer but I could not get a response until I physically went to his office. Felt very much ignored.
