He was rude, dismissive, didn’t listen, and made all of his decisions based on assessments taken before sessions. If you’re looking for the “big pharma psychiatrist boogeyman”, look no further.

I struggled with anxiety issues on and off since I was 18 and dr. elhaj listened to me in therapy till we decided to start meds. This took several trials till we found something helpful. We still discussed in therapy my stress and how it continues to add to my anxiety. I continue to learn and grow.

I dealt with addiction for almost 12 years. I worked with him for the last three to get clean and sober. It's a difficult disease but he still stands by me.

Dr Ehaj is a very good listener. He has the expectation that his patients should feel much better after treatment, not just relief.

This irresponsible, unethical practitioner has destroyed my health with his negligent prescribing of medications. In addition, he diagnosed me completely inaccurately. And didn't share his diagnosis with me! I learned it from paperwork. No other medical professional concurs with his diagnosis. Then he dosed me into near death. I cannot describe the extent of my contempt for this man on a review site.

He has always been there for me. Compassionate. Listens. He will tell me want I need not just what i want. We converse together to determine plan of care. I am glad I found him!

Dr. Elhaj spent an hour and half on a Sunday with me and my family to help us resolve our conflicts. I saw two psychiatrists before him and they never had more than ten or fifteen minutes to spend with me.

Not competent as a psychiatrist. Just seem to be following the book, not able to relate to patients, needs more experience.
