Dr. Alan S Terlinsky, MD

I have been a patient with Dr. Terlinksy for 3 years, and have been happy with his care. He takes the time to talk with each patient, and gets to know each person. His treatments are data driven.

Now that I'm 50 something, I have come to realize that conventional doctors only operate from a disease mindset (unless youâ??re quite ill, go away and donâ??t come back until youâ??re really ailing.) Since I was in the normal range according to their charts, they offered me nothing, and, in fact, congratulated me on my overall health for my age. However, my vitality was diminishing and my weight was increasing. It was very distressing to basically be told â??stop whining, youâ??re fine.â?? I want to feel good at 90 years old and beyond, and Dr. Terlinsky believes that we can remain energetic and vital as we age. Through a combination of medical tests, supplements, detox programs, hormones, and weight management I am really feeling good again. My health is priceless, and so is Dr. Terlinsky!

This man cares. I can't say enough good about him and his wife and staff. The staff is so incredible. Dr. T is the best in my life. I will never leave him.

Dr Terlinsky earned my trust over last few years as i came to him for age management and ended up selecting him as my internist as well.! The plan he formulated for me came to complete fruition which made me a believer- he is true to his word and has on every occasion gone above and beyond what i have experienced at any other Dr. office.

I've been a patient for approximately 10 years. I initially selected Dr. Terlinsky based on his exceptional professional credentials. Beyond his extensive knowledge of health and medicine, he also has an outstanding bedside manner. He takes a genuine interest in my well being. My appointments typically start on time and he spends a lot of time talking to me. He never seems rushed. I think this high level of health care is a rarity nowadays. I routinely refer friends to Dr. Terlinsky.

I just called Dr. Terlinsky's office to make my annual appointment and I had a very positive experience. I was able to choose the date of my appointment that was most convenient for me. I was treated very courteously and respectfully by the same individual these other reviewers have written negatively about. My experience has always been positive with Dr. Terlinsky and his office manager and staff. Also, wait times have always been reasonable and on the couple of occassions I've had a nasty flu or bronchitis, I've received an appointment immediately to be properly diagnosed and treated.

Dr. Terlinsky seems like a decent man; he takes his time with the patient and has a pleasant manner - one feels comfortable talking to him. He also seems knowledgeable, Unfortunately, the wife, who is the office manager is, no other way to put it, a witch! Rude like few people I've ever met; she is always ready to charge you at the drop of a hat but don't expect anything else from her. It is a shame because she is such a disservice to her husband's practice. If she has read the reviews on this site and seen what everyone says about her, she should either stay home; get another job, or go to charm school or at least learn some basic manners. Seriously folks, she is that bad!

The annual patient fee is 1800. I did not like the quality of my care and left even before one year. Communication with the doctor is difficult because the office manager ( his wife) will intercede. The purchasing of their weight loss products is stressed rather than personal health care. The office was also not always clean as another reviewer mentioned I was very disappointed as well as the very unfortunate waste of my money.

Dr. Terlinsky's office takes limited insurance and pushes very expensive medications, supplements, and procedures not covered by insurance and offered for far less at other very reputable medical facilities in the area. Furthermore, it takes several weeks, if not moths, after one is already a patient to schedule an appointment. Patients should expect at least an hour long wait once they arrive for a scheduled appointment. And the office facilities are dirty and dilapidated.

I have had problems which many doctors have seen me for and getting a detailed account of my problem and all the tests which had been done and failed to find the diagnosis. After a complete physical and some tests, It was discovered that I had become almost diabetic and my blood surgar was very unstable, In a matter of weeks on a simple medicine and some basic diet instruction everything turned around . I am so grateful for Dr. Terlinsky's help and angry at all the other doctors I wasted my time and money with who miised what my problem were. That is , in my opinion, to the fact that I was always rushed and never given enough time to tell those other doctors what my symptoms were. I was amazed at the time which I received from Dr. Terlinsky.The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. All my prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy before I got there and that saved me time. The comments below were completely different from my experience. I feel Dr. Terlinsky's staff was among the… best I ever expereinced. They greeted me, knew my name and by the time I left , I felt like we were old friends. I have seen the doctor many times and have never expereinced any unprofessional behavior . I would highly recommend Dr. Terlinsky and his staff.
