Dr. Amar Sawar, MD

To me he was very professional and knowledgeable about my personal situation and he is willing to talk to you about what he thinks is necessary way to handle my problem and I truly respect that. He seems like a good doctor and I personally found him to be a very nice person

Dr. Sawar has been so helpful finding out what was causing a variety of symptoms I was having. I was nervous to go to another doctor because it seemed my issues were not looked into and I usually left with no real help. Dr. Sawar from the first day spent time listening to what I had to say so he had a full picture of what was going on. He had a great deal of knowledge that allowed him to ask questions that led to more information I had not given him. I have never had a doctor take the time to listen that well and investigate symptoms instead of passing them off as typical middle age problems. Not only did he listen he did a great job at getting to the root of my symptoms. Within the first few visits he had already answered many of my questions and taken care of a lot of symptoms. The most impressive thing was his dedication to continue searching out answers until he could provide solutions. He just recently found the cause of the vibration in my head. I am sure I don't need to tell… anyone what a relief it was to finally know what was going on. It was something I would have never considered. It was certainly something no other doctor had ever even considered. The only way Dr. Sawar ever figured it out is because he truly listened to what I was saying and had the knowledge to put the pieces together. That along with his dedication and willingness to check even unlikely issues made all the difference. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. It is obvious he is very educated and knows his field of practice well. He knows the best places to reffer clients to ensure they receive good care. I just simply think he is a good person and a great doctor. I have never posted a review before but I really think there are more people who could benefit from his compassion and knowledge. If you need a extramly good neurologist/rumatologist who is easy to talk too you should make an appointment with Dr. Sawar.

Dr. Sawar is the best I've ever seen as a patient. I have worked in the medical field for over 38 years.

Dr. Sawar is a very personable doctor who really cares for his patients. He's very meticulous about his work and doesn't rush to a diagnosis until all of his tests results are complete. I'm very pleased with his work and the time he spends with each patient. Only complaint is his staff needs to work harder at getting patients paperwork completed in a timely manner with insurance so medicine can be administered quicker.

I am so grateful to Dr Sawar for diagnosing my horrible painful agonizing Peripheral Neuropathy that I suffered with 5 years. And YES too many practitioners claim it does exhist

Excellent Doctor. Takes time with all of his patients as doctors should do. Doesn't rush to a diagnosis and does all that's needed to give the correct diagnosis. Thanks for everything doc. You're the best!

He is an amazing physician. He listened to everything I had said. He took time to give full explanations and made sure I understood everything.

Dr Sawar has to be one of the most efficient and caring doctors that I have ever been to. I went to my PCP with unbearable foot pain, and was referred to Dr. Sawar. I described the pain to him and he told me exactly what it was. He was right on target, the man is genius.

Dr. Sawar, unlike my pmd, took the time to listen to me and asked several questions. He reviewed my history and explained in layman's details, although I am a nurse, what was going on with my body. I had tried a few medications that had either not worked or had bad side effects sending me to the emergency room and he worked with me to find a solution. He was passionate about helping me and made me feel like I was no longer begging my physician to do something to help me! I am grateful for his attention and help. I did not have a positive rheumatoid factor although my pmd told me I had arthritis in my knees and lower back and confirmed degenerative disc disease by mri with chronic pain and joint pain and yet my current pmd at the time chose not to treat me for those things. I would strongly refer one to see Dr. Sawar!
