Dr. Amy Lynn Brodsky, MD

I’ve been going to Dr Brodsky for years. She’s very efficient and makes your visit a pleasant one. I would recommend her to anyone.

My daughter had a terrible infection on her finger. Dr Brodsky’s office was able to get her an appointment the next day. She was very nervous about needing a shot in her finger, but Dr Brodsky and her staff totally put her at ease and she didn’t even feel anything!! They couldn’t have been nicer or more reassuring. Excellent experience!!!

Completely NOT satisfied with the visit to Doctor Amy Brodsky. It was a 2-minute consultation where I did not receive any advice about warts on my hand. Moreover, they charged me $350. Literally for nothing.

My self employed insurance situation has forced me to move around to different specialists over the last few years. Yesterday I saw Dr. Amy Brodsky for the first time and she was the 4th dermatologist I have seen in as many years. I saw her in her Glenview location which is very convenient and modern. My experience with her staff for scheduling, check-in, interview, care review and re-appointment was flawless. I found Dr. Brodsky to be caring, competent, confident and a great communicator. After some discussion regarding my skin issue and her examination she offered a treatment regimen using a daily oral medication, ointment application and a reassessment of results in 4-6 weeks. Believe me, this was the conservative approach I had been hoping for as an alternative to the biopsy my Primary Care Physician intimated might be necessary.

Wasn't thorough and seemed to have no plan.

1st time visit to scan body for moles, etc was not comprehensive at all - took all of 60 seconds at best. My last dermatologist had a magnifying glass while scanning my skin thoroughly. I was stunned! Nor was she warm and seemingly caring. Very disappointed. Felt like a factory. They ask you to sign up for all kinds of marketing materials and want your credit card on file. She's probably great for beauty dermatology, but not the dangerous important stuff. Very disappointed. I will not be returning for my follow up.
