Dr. Andrew Stauffer Meeks, MD

Terrible ER visit with Dr. Meeks, who doesn't listen, dismisses patient concerns, makes precursor health care decisions based on a person's "appearance", vs medical data (ie blood results). He's rude, arrogant, interrupts, is short / curt when consulting w patients; and refuses to apologize when called out for bad behavior. In my case, a hospital liaison was brought in to had to get involved, as Dr. Meeks wanted to send me to a nursing home vs admitting me to hospital while experiencing signs of heart attack. he responds like a narcissist by not apologizing for his bad behavior and not providing patient treatment plans. In my case, he wanted to send me to nursing facility without having my blood results. I requested a different doctor as I had no confidence in Dr. Meeks. Once admitted to a room, my heart rate dropped to 36, having an AED placed bedside. Remind you, Dr Meeks simply looked at me and said I looked just fine.
