Dr. Asha Gandhi, MD

She is extremely insensitive and does not know how to speak to patients. She makes you feel ashamed. 90% of her staff is the same rude and works against orients versus with them when there is an issue. She is judgmental and as a doctor shouldn’t you be more sensitive? Also lazy and quick to make her own assumptions versus listening to a patient. I told her that a Birth Control wa snaking me irregular and she said they were all the same but once they changed me back it came back to normal. And I only got changed back cuz of Walgreens carrying it not because of her.

If I could give this doctor and 90% of her receptionist a negative star I would. She is extremely judgmental as a doctor. I understand she is more old school but it got to the point where I felt ashamed to even go. If you want to find a doctor that is sensitive and realizes the importance of respect to their patients, I do not recommend her. Her reception was even worse. The ladies who helped me sounded annoyed every time I called. Working with medical records and files you would think they would be more sensitive. I do not recommend this doctor or working with her staff at all. She wouldn’t listen about my issues with certain pills. She needs sensitivity training

Started seeing Dr. Gandhi several years after having bouts with painful cysts and doctor who only prescribed opioids. When I first came to her she definitely had a "blunt" attitude and made me cry but I wrote it off as my out-of-whack hormones. After laying it into her about doctors who refuse to do anything except the bare minimum and presenting my research she seemed a bit more helpful. Taught me a lot about female anatomy and cycle that I had previously never learned. Started me on estrogen to determine where my cycle was. When that did nothing she decided lap was good idea but wanted me checked over by PCP before I got on the table. For family reasons I had to move out of state for a few years but after my symptoms worsening and doctors in my area having no idea what was wrong I decided to move back to work with Dr. Gandhi again. Receptionist is beyond over-worked and under appreciated and it SHOWS. Consistently wait 30-45 minutes after my scheduled appt time to even be brought… back to wait some more and have no record of medical records I had sent to them(TWICE!) After losing 30+ pounds in one year and having blood/mucus in stool and ending up in hospital 3x for complications she told me it was "PMS and stress" Refuses to spend more than 10 minutes with you and will begin to talk down to you almost become hostile when you press her to do her job? Now with new doctor who has confirmed stage 4 deep infiltrating endo on bowel and have lost some bowel but am in so much less pain and disease only would've progressed if I had trusted Gandhi and done nothing. DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH AND COMFORT! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DOC!

My appointments were comparatively okay disregarding rude, "do not care" and "after money" behaviours till the bad luck struck just few days away from 12 weeks. She knew it was coming but never addressed it as risky pregnancy or provided any specialist referral. Dr. Asha knew he/she was no more in the womb because of no Heartbeats , movements and overall signs. In Fact, she continued with "some" kind of casual treatment. Later on my husband found that on the very day she ordered a very expensive test. I remember this test was done after the bad news was delivered to us. Although the majority of $10,000 ( test charges ) was paid for by insurance, that reflects the greed and hunger for money even for the gone fetus. I don't even know how they settle such things with Insurance. Please be aware and go only if you are okay with high wait times, getting mocked by Dr. of your condition and phobia, and most importantly if you can afford to loose everything including baby !

she completely misdiagnosed and treated me. I came in with a painfull condition that was made 10 times worse with what she told me to do. on top of that she handed me a prescription that she said was for one thing and it turned out to be for something completely different. this nearly put me in the hospital ER!! my opinion is that she is incompetent and I recommend that you stay away from her. when I got the correct diagnosis they totally reversed everything she said to do.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an excellent experience for me with this doctor . The office staff was so nice to schedule or reschedule appointments even at different locations. The doctor was courteous to listen to our questions and suggest available option. Overall it was a good experience

Some of the staff is very rude. And even if you have an appointment you still have to wait a long time before your seen. At first i liked the doctor but after a very hurtful comment she made I disliked her very much. I came in for my 6 week chekup after having my baby. And she told me I was obesed and needed to lose 30 pounds. Not I was a little over weight and could lose some weight no I was obesed. I was hurt and really mad. And when I got to my car I was in tears. My husband asked me what was wrong and I told him. He said how dare she say that to you just had a baby. I don't think any doctor should say that to a woman. Specially after having a baby. I already felt inscure about how I looked and didn't feel beautiful. But to hear my doctor say I need to lose 30 pounds and I am obesed wow. And people wonder why some woman feel inscure or have low self-esteem about how they look or feel. I would never go back to her ever again. And I highly recommend no else does either.

My daughters first time...She was very rude! Talked down to my daughter. Treated her like she was an idiot. Nobody should b treated that way especially since it was her first Gyno experience. Staff told me they accepted my insurance went & they didn't. Had to wait a month for the appt. Was pretty irratated when I get there & could not be seen since they didn't accept my insurance when I asked if it was accepted when I scheduled. Clearly would NEVER go back & would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr is good & reliable. However, the staff doesn't know how to handle the paperwork. Your referrals will be done very late in the case you follow-up. Otherwise, it will never be done. Procedures will take 6 times more than usual if you follow-up anything related to paperwork. Staff willl make you very uncomfortable when you follow-up & you will see they don't pay attention. You will feel the patients are not important. & they don't care if things are getting done for the patients. Cretianly much below an average office. If the doctor has more professional staff to work around her probably the office overall could have been rated better. Even though the doctor is good, as a patient nobody would like to go there. They just care if their portion is done & never follow-up if indeed it was done right. Very poor quality.

Waiting time at office is high even after scheduled appointment. Always have many confusion in office within office staff. My ultra sound rescheduled twice already without any proper explanation.
