Dr. Bradford C. Gelzayd, MD

Had my first colonoscopy from Dr Gelzayd this morning and it went very well as he made me feel very at was and informed what will happen during the procedure. He’s very professional in every way with extent knowledge in his field and practice. My husband and myself will definitely go back for our next colonoscopy in a few years per his suggestion. The staff was excellent as well.

I’ve been going to Dr. Gelzayd for about 15 years now. He’s helped me with ways to manage my GI symptoms which improved the quality of life. He also got me off medications prescribed to me by a previous GI doctor in another State prior to me moving to AZ. I’ve been pleased with his care, as well as thoroughness of explaining the results from my upper and lower endoscopies. I recommend him for those looking for a GI doctor.

DR GELZARD'S EXPERTISE IS USING GOOGLE - FOR THIS REASON WE CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!!! Dr Gelzayd only does Telehealth appointments. No in person appts. Our son was seeing him after the 2nd Telehealth appt when the next step was Rehab, this doctor could provide NO GUIDANCE or recommendations on Rehab - NONE. He said, "Google it" He had been practicing for 20+ years and had no recommendations or guidance - Zero value add. He requested to see our son again after Rehab to review the lab test. We can get the lab results online and use Google to help interpret the lab results. FYI - Another reason NOT to consider this doctor. We had the 2nd appt, only for the doctor to Cancel it. When we tried to reschedule it they pushed it out over a month. His scheduler was combative and showed no grace, and should consider doing something else.

This office staff gets sooo many complaints. Completely unlikeable and rude. Be sure to check out other site reviews. Don't go here unless you like abuse, really...

Outstanding physician. Very competent, quite intelligent and still relatable. Explained everything so that I could understand all the intricate medical details. Most important to me, though, was the un-rushed time that he spent with me, after the procedure. He didn't make me feel like a 'number' or just another faceless patient. He listened. He provided me with information, instructions, a plan, prescriptions and a one-year-follow-up. Compassionate but not 'gushy'. If my insurance doesn't renew his contract, I'll continue to see him on a private, fee-for-service basis.

Dr. Gelzayd was as calm and helpful as I would expect a top doctor to be. I appreciated his calm demeanor and his general attitude. I have read other patients' comments about his staff. I treated them with courtesy and respect and they returned the same courtesy and respect to me. His knowledge as a specialist who treats older patients like myself appeared to be vast and comprehensive. I would highly recommend Dr. Gelzayd to anyone with GI issues.
