Dr. Carlton Arthur Richie III, DO

Have you ever had a doctor that really cares about you ? If not, then make an appointment with Dr. Richie! You will follow him wherever he goes. Truly a caring physican in every sense of the word.

I don't even remember how long I have been seeing Dr. Richie, but I used to drive a little over an hour to see him, now I drive about 2 hours and if he move further away, I would drive there to. He genuinly cares about his patients and condescending is not something I could ever in any way see him being towards anyone. In my opinion the people who aren't happy with him wouldn't be happy with anyone. I have never been there that he hasn't thanked me for making the drive, and he always asks about my daughter who worked for him 9 or 10 years ago, I feel comfortable and cared for, and that's what everyone wants in a doctor.

I am so glad to have found Dr. Richie several years ago. He has improved my quality of life immeasurably and has helped to improve several of my long term health problems. I have long term health concerns and have seen many, many doctors. Doctor Richie is the first one in a long time that really listened to me and took me seriously. He usually has students with him when he sees me and I think that is invaluable experience for these future medical professionals. He always takes the time to explain to them all of my various issues and describes various solutions to my problems. In addition to being a fantastic doctor, Dr. Richie is just a very nice guy and I consider him a friend. Also, the staff at Dr. Richie's office is extremely professional and very nice. They are responsive to my needs and very easy to work with. I can't thank you all enough. Whenever I think of Dr. Richie, I think of the various ways he has improved my life and I am thankful to know him.

Dr. C is so easy going and friendly! He's very caring about his patients.

I have been an employee of Dr Richie's for almost seven years and he did not ask me to write this nor do I get any sort of compensation for this. I don't understand the negative comment below because he is the most HUMBLE and kindhearted doctor I have ever met or worked for. I trust him so much that he takes care of some of my family members and on occasion me too. These reviews on here are so one sided, I felt it necessary to hear from someone who knows and works with him on a daily basis. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, passionate, and HUMBLE doctor.

Condescending attitude. Showboat.

Said everything was anxiety when it was not

I've been seeing Doc Richie for over 7 years. He was the first one to diagnose me correctly in 30 years. He's very interested in you as a patient and a person and treats the whole of you. I have followed him to 4 locations over the years till he got his permanent one. Here is how good he is in a nutshell...if I moved out of state...I would fly back to AZ 4 times a year for my quarterly visits no matter the cost...he is just that good. Oh and I take buses everywhere...and because of transfers etc it takes me two hours to get there from where I live one way...and its very worth the trip. He is the awesome-est.

I have recommended Dr, Richie to my friends and family. He is current in his knowledge of the science of the human body and has diagnosed and helped to heal me of some uncommon problems. He has ALWAYS been kind, knowledgeable and professional. He has moved to an office that is a considerable distance from my home, but I will continue to seek his medical advise.

Dr. Richie is an amazing physician. I will not take my family anywhere else, even though the Scottsdale office is very inconvenient for us. He takes the time to take care of his patients always. I can only imagine the negative reviewer is upset because his/her "free" vacation cost $100.
