Summary
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. I was exposed to medicine at an early age by my mother, a registered nurse. Watching her interact and compassionately take care of patients inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. In order to gain the best possible education, I moved to Chicago to train in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital. As an emergency physician, I have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives when they are most in need. I feel privileged to be able to connect to patients in a meaningful way and to utilize my skills and training to help them during stressful events.
