I have seen a lot of doctors over the years as a patient and as a student and Dr. Walker is the best doctor I have ever seen. She is kind, empathetic, funny, and an overall lovely person to be around. She is also an extremely competent provider as her medication selection has allowed me to live a far better life with fewer medications and less negative side effects. I cant recommend her enough. I have no doubt she can help anyone.

I knew Dr. Walker from when she worked at the Menninger clinic as head of psychiatry. As her patient I received the best of care. Her thorough approach to assessment and medication got me out of a very tough time for me. She's also somehow very funny while still being an absolute pro, empathetic, and compassionate.

Dr.Walker is the best psychiatrist I have EVER met. She is patient. She listens. And she truly cares about her patients. From the very first day I met her I felt comfortable and safe, which is rare for me. She has helped me so much. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Dr.Walker.

Words can not express how grateful I am that Dr. Walker was assigned to my husband's case at MUSC. She was so caring and her concern for my husband was remarkable. The kindness she showed to me was so genuine and she spent as much time with me as I needed to understand what was going on with my husband. I will never forget Dr. Walker and how she helped to save his life.
