Dr. Craig Lomita, MD

Very rude, unprofessional with robotic behavior. Very poor people skills. He gets annoyed when you ask any questions. He’s very dismissive. I've never experience such a cold doctor in my life.

Dr. Lomita's bedside manners are the worst. He's very inconsiderate and has no compassion for his patients. I've taken my dad to see him twice and both times he spent about 2 minutes with him. I will not be taken my dad to him again. I gave him a rating of one because there's no option for a "0".

His bedside manner was the WORST I have ever encountered. He spent as little time with me as possible, but made sure to promptly yell at his nurse for directing me to sit in the wrong chair. Rushed appointment, neglected/refused to answer questions about healing time and how to adjust for my job with the injury. Worst experience with a physician that I've ever had.

I am returning next week with my sister, the patient, for a follow up x ray and reevaluation. I will post my full review at that time...in regards to the previous posts about Dr Lomita I have this to say...."and those are his GOOD points!".

Met with Dr. Lomita, wasn't impressed AT ALL and went with somebody else. I feel patients, who are concerned and nervous about their health, deserve to get precise, assertive and detailed answers to all of their questions regarding the risks, surgical procedure(s), results and follow-up recommendations; however, I did not get this vibe from Dr. Lomita, whose answers were quite rushed and EXTREMELY vague/unclear, many of which ended with a simple: "I don't know," or "I'm not sure," or "I can't say." Bottom line is - the person who's going to perform surgery on YOUR body should be able to explain EVERYTHING top-to-bottom, inside-and-out, start-to-finish; he wasn't able to do that for me which is why I decided to go with somebody else for the actual procedure. Personally, I thought Dr. Lomita came off as being very stiff, impersonal, distant, kind of cold, rude and confused. My only advice would be to be patient, and meet multiple potential surgeons until YOU feel confident that… YOU'VE met the right one for YOU. Good luck!

Dr. Lomita treated me with a complete lack of professionalism. He didn't answer my any of my questions. I felt scared about my condition and he gave me no reassurance as to whether I would be okay. He gave me no advice on what anti-inflammatory drugs I could use in place of ibuprofen, which I had been taking for over a month. He spent not even five minutes telling me he had no idead what was wrong with me and that I would have to go for testing somewhere else. In short, he was rude, short, cold and gave me the overall impression that he had NO competence what so ever.
