Dr. Craig Allen Moorman, MD

Let me start by saying Dr. Moorman is not my main pediatrician, but I have had to deal with him at a walk-in and an after hours call. I'm not impressed. At a walk-in appointment I was asked what I was feeding my baby, I said breastmilk, sometimes I give it in a bottle (because I'm a first time mom, and was struggle with breastfeeding and my baby was only 6 weeks at the time), he then imposed his "opinion" about exclusively breastfeeding without a bottle. I told him the things I didn't like about it and he said, "well that's just part of it." Oh really? I guess your the expert on what it feels like when your baby tugs and pulls and your nipples are so sore you can't even dry off with a towel after a shower? Yes, I am still breastfeeding but at the time I was really struggling, so for him to tell me that really ticked me off. Next, my baby gets a fever in the middle of the night, 2 months old now. I'm sorry that every pamphlet the doctors office and hospital gave me said to call… immediatly if your baby under 3 months old with a fever of 100.4 or higher. My child was burning to the touch with a 102.4 fever. I'm a first time mom. Can I have my first freak out moment? I called. I clearly put him out in the middle of the night (although this is his job and he was on call). He basically said, "don't call me unless your kid has a fever of 106". Well sorry, I'm not letting it get that far! He gave no advice on breaking the fever except to give him Tylenol. I'm not stupid. I did that before j called. How about real help, like how he should sleep? Swaddle? No swaddle? Pjs, no pjs? Everytime I've talked with him, I feel like I'm putting him out and he looks at me likes he's the bomb and I'm a moron. I don't want that in a pediatrician. His bedside manner SUCKS. If I wasn't moving in three weeks, I'd be finding a new pediatrician immediately, because I don't want the slightest chance of my baby being really sick, and him being on call again with his, "meh" attitude.

I have had three Children recieve care from Craig Moorman. He is an excellent Doctor, really cares about the Children he treats, is friendly kind and courteous. We are lucky to have him.

Dr. Craig Morman is mean ,rude , unfriendly and in my opinion a horrible doctor.

Wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone unless you want someone who will treat you like you don't know whats best for your child.

I prefer Dr. Moorman to any other doctor in this practice.
