Patient Statement – Incident During Medical Exam Location: Dr Poindexter Concentra North Las Vegas Description of Incident: During a scheduled medical appointment related to my workers’ compensation injury, my doctor performed a physical maneuver where they applied downward pressure on the top of my head, pushing it toward my shoulders. Immediately during and after the maneuver, I experienced a burning sensation in my neck, which was not present prior to the exam. Given my recent MRI results showing herniated discs at multiple cervical levels (C3–C6), spinal stenosis, and spinal cord contact, I believe this maneuver was unsafe, caused harm, and may have aggravated my existing spinal injuries. My doctor did not inform me of the risks, nor did they obtain my consent before applying this force. Symptoms After Incident: Burning in the neck Increased pain and stiffness numbness, tingling, weakness, and headaches radiating down my spine

He always talks about my injury and noticed a mole I had and referd me to a dermatologist .he's great I first seen him for workers comp he never rushed or done any of the things outhers said followed my claim to the end always concerned about me not my claim patient is his first priority always

I honestly can't believe a doctor could be more aloof and disinterested in me as a patient. I will not waste my time with him again!

it could not be more obvious that poindexter is a corrupt shill for workmans comp. I'm just waiting for someone to start a class action suit to expose this fraud.

He's a very dismisses to your needs all he cares about is getting you in and out of his office and doesn't really care if your still in pain or need more medical treatment . You can tell him whats wrong but he just ignores it and will you release you just because he can!!! Workmen comp will not allow to see another Dr it's him or no one apparently.

I was seen from Dr. Poindexter after going to multiple Concentra doctors. All of these others have kept me on light duty due to my injury and also got me an MRI. My results were basically stating I had no break or tears, but didn't rule out injury. I have been in severe pain now for going on 2 months with mo relief. He basically told me he will no longer be able to keep me on light duty and sending me back to full duty, no restrictions because "he can't do it any longer than 2 months"....After my results from MRI came back, my original doctor kept me on restricted duty and told me he was referring me to an Orthopedic specialist that would be able to LOOK at my MRI in person, and further read into them and get another opinion. Well, he was thru Concentra also, and didnt even look at them. He read original report and said he wants me to go to therapy for "up to possibly 3-4months" 3 times a week! Bottom line, Concentra specialists and Dr. Poindexter work directly for the corporation, not… the people...I do have a lawyer and will go for a second opinion due to the severity of my injury. There was also a neck injury that happened same time as original, which they have never vot an MRI for me on..bottom line, I feel like they are throwing me out, without proper care and treatment..they work for the company, and have little concern with your recovery and care. I will say that the physical therapist Jeff L. Webb does try to help properly treat you, but also has a specific agenda to follow....I specifically told him "Poindexter"I could not due my job at even 60% at this time due to my level of pain and not being properly treated yet, and he disagreed. I know my body and my ability at work, I have NEVER had a work injury or severe pain for this long and felt betrayed by the doctors and companies they represent. Knowing myself and being told Im moreless dishonest "in other words" is offending. I hope you never have to be seen from this "supposed specialist". Do your research, Im not the only one who has had the same issue with this man.... TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL...

RUN!!! Don't walk if Workman's Comp sends you to this Dr. I think he forgot about the Hippocratic Oath that he took. I think he has a conflict of interest. He cares more about saving the insurance co. money than the care of his patient!

As a patient for Dr Poindexter for over a decade, I have been over all pleased in every aspect with his professionalism. Never has he guided me wrong, and most of all he is a doctor who cares to find the best results for his patients. He is a specialist in his field, which means he highly sought after and there can be a wait in seeing him. But it is well worth it!

Dr. Poindexter is a kind, caring, and compassionate Dr! He loves b his job and it shows!
