Dr. Cynthia Suchin Wang, MD

What a horrible psychiatrist! I’ve seen several over the years and she is hands down the worst. Cold and not the slightest bit compassionate and decides how she feels about you before even meeting you and even after that refuses to see anything that should open or change her mind. I can’t even find the words to elaborate what an awful experience she was for me. Borderline actively working against my healing. Broke my release of information arbitrarily also. I’d be suspicious of any of these 5-star reviews seeing as only one of them elaborated while all the negative ones actually said something specific. Avoid at all costs unless you just need simple care that requires minimal interaction or care (medically/morally). Practice self-care and avoid if you can. As a an already vulnerable/sensitive demographic of people requiring psychiatric care there’s a tendency to allow people to treat you poorly. Don’t even put yourself in that position with her and find someone else from the start… before the messy process of “breaking up” with a Doctor once care is in initiated. Good luck to those already stuck and a victim of hers.

She does not listen when you tell her meds dont work

Dr Wang does not want to listen when you are telling her about your medications and how they are working for you, she just gives you what she wants, she uses her personal opinion rather than a professional opinion, I have been going there for almost a year and I am no better than I was when I started all she can say is ohh you might be med resistant. The only reaseon Im still there is because my theripist that I see is wonderful but the med doc (dr wang) is awfull. JUST LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS DR. WANG

Dr. Wang does not follow simple request in communication about changing medications a loved one of mine had a seizures due to changing medication without first allowing medical power of attorney to weigh risk or benefit
