Doesn't listen, rushes, incorrect diagnososis, diagnoses everyone with ibs and fibromyalgia without any basis. Does not ask questions and doesn't know basic anatomy See reddit.

I had a horrible experience at the EDS Clinic at Mayo Jacksonville. Dr. Knight “coordinated” my evaluation after I was on a wait list for nearly a year. As the medical director, I hold him responsible for the misinformation and misinformation that led to bungled appointments. If you’re considering this clinic, be prepared that while they do attempt to diagnose connective tissue disorders, the emphasis is on diagnosis, but not on identifying appropriate treatment or connecting you to care. If they conclude you don’t have EDS or HSD, I have little faith they would assist you in figuring out another solution. It seems they prioritize research and promoting their “integrative” approach of connecting HSD/EDS patients to resources and information. But they don’t pay attention to whether the care they’re providing is appropriate for your individual needs or the quality of it. He didn’t even fully review the EDS diagnostic criteria, explain why he ordered certain tests, or follow up. He’s the… medical director and he told me incorrect information about scheduling appointments he ordered that resulted in loss of significant time and money and never apologized. Neither he nor his staff responds to messages. If you’re desperate for a diagnosis and can get in here, it may be work it, but please manage expectations so you won’t experience the same pain and disappointed I experienced, along with others I met while they also seeked care there. I wish I would hand gone to Tulane’s EDS Clinic or gotten in somewhere else where they try harder to help you access treatment or teach it to you so you can bring it back to your home care team. I feel really hurt and disappointed and I told them so and they don’t seem to care. That’s not the kind of clinic or provider I can recommend.

He is a very caring doctor. Figured out in 4 days what docs at home couldn’t figure out in 6 years. Love him !
