Dr Daniel S Alam, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Alam 7 years ago at Cleveland Clinic. I was seeing another doctor for my facial paralysis ( resulting from a serious head injury), during an appointment my doctor called doctor Alam regarding my issue, next thing I knew doctor Alam was in the room with my doctor & I ( on his day off no less) examining my face. Immediately, Dr Alam described the facial nerve surgery he would do for me to help me regain movement. With each appointment I had with Dr Alam leading up to my surgery, he took the time to describe the process and answer any concerns I had, including returning my calls if I had questions. On the day of surgery, I was really scared and Dr Alam put me at ease by making me laugh and even played music by my favorite singer during my surgery. My surgery went well, I have no visible scars. Dr. Alam and his team were amazing!

After my surgery 3 years ago I have been on feeding tube and haven’t had any solid food , saw doctor Aam and for the first time I have hope to get back to normal after a flip flop surgery that he is confident to do I am certain that He is the one who is going to give me my life back ??

This man saved my life and he was so kind in the process he knows what he’s doing if I had to describe him as we were going through the process he was a man with a plan.

He gets a 2 star because his staff is terrific. I was ref'd to him and after 5 minutes of him standing there telling me how rare my condition is and "there's not very much literature" blah blah blah... so basically I should just take his word and proceed with his recommendation. Hogwash! His higher-than-thou attitude leaves one nauseous.

My first visit for an evaluation with Dr. Alam was by a referral from Dr. Boyer and after this visit and research, I am convinced that I’m in the hands of one of the top Facial Reconstrutive surgeons on the planet!

Following tx for throat cancer, I was unable to eat for 3 years. I visited 4 different Boston hospitals and was told I would be dependent on a feeding tube for the rest of my life. One Dr. described my esophagus as a "dead piece of meat." I was referred to Dr. Alam by a physician from Massachusetts General Hospital at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Alam recommended microvcasular freeflap surgery and 5 months after surgery I was able to eat solid food and drink liquids for the 1st time in 3 1/2 years. He truly saved my life.

Just completely full of it.

He has been my Doctor for over 5 years, and is one of the main reasons I am still alive and living life!! He is truly one of the best Doctors out there!!

Dr alam is truly worth waiting for when it comes to an appointment. He takes all the time you need to answer your every question and concern.HIS CREDENTIALS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES .he is humble and down to earth and does not promise you to look like your 20 or 30 if your 50 or 60. you will look like you not a pulled and plastic looking piece of someone who resembles you.he is truly a one of a kind skilled surgeon.I have three friends who have appointments for surgery after they have seen what he did for me.
