Dr. Daniel Abraham Sheldon, MD

After a fall and right shoulder injury and an awful experience with another surgeon, Dr Sheldon came highly recommended. I was impressed initially and had surgery by him. I was great until I reinjured my shoulder and was told it was overuse. I followed his recommendations. However, nothing helped. Short of going to the ER, I contacted the office six times to get assistance. NO RESPONSE!!!!! I feel if you are a surgical candidate, you are cared for. If you experience problems post-operatively, you are on your own. Even when I called to get my records to see yet another ortho, and explained why I was leaving, they could have cared less. Went to another ortho and quickly diagnosed with frozen shoulder. I am perplexed that a physician with Dr. Sheldon’s experience could not diagnose that….OH WAIT, maybe because the office did not respond to me. The wait times are insane in waiting room an exam room, frankly not worth the wait. Much better experience if you are surgical candidate, post… surgical or other issues, save your valuable time. I am not sure what has happened to physicians and healthcare system! So sad.

Dr. Daniel Sheldon is not my first orthopedic doctor but he is the best. He spends time with the patient. He explains everything in detail you couldn’t ask for a better doctor. Very good bedside manner. I would definitely recommend him. Great Doctor !!

Dr. Sheldon is an excellent and very knowledgeable doctor. He will spend time with you when it’s your turn. Bring a book to read but he is worth the wait.

He is a very good and understanding doctor. Strongly suggest calling 1 hour before to see if he is running on time.

When you call the office and the lines are busy, the recording says to hang up and call again. You cannot hold! I have never heard of this?

My mother was taken to Memorial Regional West by ambulance because of a fall which resulted in a broken tibia. Dr. Sheldon performed her surgery the same day of the injury. Post-op, I took my mother to her appointment and I was shocked to wait over 3 hours to see Dr. Sheldon. In the waiting room, 3 patients went to the front desk and said they cannot wait any longer and asked for another appointment. This seemed like a normal practice for his office. When I asked the front desk, how much longer would our wait be, their response was - “I should have called and asked if they were running behind. Of course, my reply was, perhaps they should of called me. Ouch! When we finally got to see Dr. Sheldon (5min) I asked if he was aware that patients are leaving because of the wait time. He said he was aware and obviously didn’t care. On another note, there were people coming in on walkers and in wheelchairs and needed help with the door. I got up several times to hold the door, however, in an… orthopedic surgeons office, one would think there would be an button to push for those who are disabled or injured.

Have been seeing Dr. Sheldon for years. He is a very good orthopedic. Would recommend him to others.

He was great & his staff was also. My knee replacement was much easier than I had anticipated. I now have full range of motion & much less pain.

Any wait time for Him would be worth the wait. My Husband and I have both had Knee surgery and wouldn't want anyone else to take care of us. Thank You Dr and Staff.
