When I first met you, I showed up with a year-old MRI – from an open MRI. You were reluctant, but you reviewed it. From that you identified and fixed my left shoulder labrum tear. Not two years later, I came visiting again. This time with a negative reading on a right shoulder labrum tear. You took one look and said, nope, that’s not right! Off we went again. Last week I was at the gym lifting weights thinking about how if it were not for you, I wouldn’t be in the gym today doing what I am. For that, I’m grateful. I would recommend Dr. Julson 10 out of 10!

I am a 68 year old male.I had lived with pain in my right shoulder for years, had steroid shots for several years & it finally got to the point that I was not getting any relief & couldn't sleep at night, due to intense pain. I was advised that the only option was to have surgery because my shoulder was totally worn out. I chose Dr. Danya Josserand as my surgeon & I have been very satisfied. On my initial visit she went over my x-rays with me & took time to explain everything in depth, to me. I had my surgery approximately 5 months ago & my shoulder has improved dramatically. Dr. Josserand has always been friendly, very professional & has always taken time to listen to any questions or concerns that I had. If anyone ever asks me if I would recommend Dr. Josserand if they are in need of surgery I would steer them in her direction!! Dr. Josserand is "The Best"!!!!!!! She is a 10 plus in my books!!!!

I dislocated my shoulder in the late summer of 2019. My wife is an RN and she not only looked at reviews but talked to people who provided some insight as well. After doing the research we chose Dr. Josserand and I am glad we did. She was very informative about my surgery and what the recovery would be and was spot on. I am still doing some at home therapy but over all the surgery was a success! Thank you Dr. Josserand!

Preferred shoulder surgery. Smoker's and those who live with smokers should consider another surgeon, since this doctor is allergic. Typical surgeon with little compassion or empathy and little time. Very short with me post surgery. May be good at surgery, but poor patient interaction otherwise.

I had dislocated my shoulder about 20 years ago, and the treatment at that time was steroid injections. Recently, I re-injured the shoulder and sought treatment. I was referred by my primary care physician to Dr. Danya Josserand. Dr. Josserand showed me the injuries on the MRI and recommended surgery. She provided me a very detailed protocol to prepare for surgery, which I carefully followed. Surgery involved a rotator cuff repair, biceps tenodesis, with extensive debridement of the shoulder joint. After the surgery, Dr. Josserand recommended an excellent physical therapy group, with specific protocol instructions. The recovery took several months, but resulted in restored movement and no more shoulder pain. Dr. Josserand was caring, compassionate and shared her knowledge. I felt I could ask her questions and receive an easy to understand explanation of symptoms, restoration, and physiology. Office visits were on time and efficient. Her assistant was cordial and… helpful when I had questions. I highly recommend Dr. Josserand!

Rushed thru exam, writing on little piece of paper telling me do this do that, no bedside manner what so ever, she should be a medical examiner to work w dead people. In and out of exam in 2 min. Acted Annoyed by my questions. Warren clinic needs to give her a class on compassion.

Dr joss errand provided careful attention to my shoulder replacement and I have enjoyed two ears of pain free activity. Follow up visits were always on time and allowed ample time for questions. Both my wife and I are impressed with her knowledge and skill.

I didn't overly care for her. Rushed through every appointment I had with her. In fact she had one foot out the door as I was still asking a question! She was rushed and cold on surgery day as well. I had my shoulder operated on. It was immobilized the entire first week after surgery per her instructions. First follow up visit she yanked my arm straight up into the air! I saw stars it hurt so bad. I was not happy with her at all. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy sorry to say.

I had a total reverse shoulder replacement. Before deciding to have the surgery Dr Josserand explained the post surgery limitations and about the rehab I would have to have to bring my shoulder back to a "usable" state. She explained that I would have limitations on the amount of weight I could lift, etc. But that I would at least be able to live without the constant pain I am in now. She is a wonderful caring individual.
