Dr L was very professional and clear and concise in his directions!

As far as my hip replacement, he is an excellent surgeon. I barely have a scar. It was the aftercare I was unhappy with. Except for my first and last visit, I would see the PA. I continuously complained about pain. I even asked to have an MRI so we could find out what was going on. The PA continued to discount my pain to the point that 3 years later, I have increased pain. Dr. Luessenhop is now working with me to address the problem and for that I truly appreciate his concern. I give him 5 stars, but his PA 1 star.

My appointments with Dr Luessenhopp have always produced favorable results. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I’ll be having a total knee replacement soon and feel confident I will be in good hands.

Long wait time, but with Covid, thats not new. Pleasant, friendly staff. Dr. Luessenhop very professional and explained procedure thoroughly. Left feeling reassured.

Dr. Luessenhop did replacement surgery for both my knees in 2013... six weeks apart and it was very easy recovery for me. I was back at work at 2 1/2 weeks with the first one, and maybe a bit longer for the second one, but it was over Xmas holiday. I cursed myself for not having done it sooner... almost no pain.

I've had two hip replacements in two years with Doctor Luessenhop, and you can barely see any marks on my hips. I can't speak enough about his bedside manners, because he is compassionate and cares about his patients. He treats you like a human being with feelings, and not an object. Before going into surgery he talks with you, and it alleviates your stress. Doctors with these qualities are rare!

Had hip replacement..and infection following...he does your surgery and you never see him after in hospital..requested over and over to see him 2 days later his PA came in advise she would speak with someon..never heard from anyone thereafter..suffering from extreme PAIN and infection

I am very disappointed. I have a herniated disc, very painful. Dr. Luessenhop was unable or unwilling to give me any simple remedies. I searched the web and just keeping my feet on the floor helps. Also there are exercises available. He ordered an MRI, then we scheduled a follow up. I waited over an hour for him to tell me he had to refer me on. Why didn't he just call? He got a full fee, for nothing, and more importantly delayed the treatment. He may be knowledgeable but needs empathy.

Having issues with my shoulder, I had many appointments with the doctor, going from conservative treatments to surgery. Only twice was the doctor not present, due to surgical emergencies, and I had to see the physicianâ??s assistant. Over all they have a great staff who treats you well. I have recommended him to a close friend, and I would see this doctor again.
