Dr. Darryl John Di Risio, MD

Many years ago he was a better doctor and a caring human being. Having seen him again after 20 years and he is a changed man. He was extremely condescending, even made fun of the doctor who notes I brought with me calling him a "funny little man"... Already having three neurological diagnosis and needing a confirmation on what to do next, he was completely dismissive. When I asked him what I could do (weakness in my legs with occasional incontinence) he said "I don't know... I guess your stuck." Then he recommended I go to the local YMCA and exercise in their community pool... while being incontinent ??? It was obvious he didn't want to be bothered with me as I was only searching for answers and did not want any kind of surgery...

I have had back to back surgery from this Dr with fearing the outcome. He reassured me did his job and to me worked a miracle. He was Attendtive every day of the week. I would refer him anything and was so glad to have him in my care

I've seen him and his NPs many times. They are amazing from the minute you call to the minute you walk out the door. Their assistant knows what she's doing and gets everything done quick. I think everyone just needs to remember this is still a specialist office and their are other patient's I know just the few times I've had to call in an issue it was dealt with right away even when I left a voice mail. I give Dr. DiRisio and his team 1000% thank you!!!

Ok first off, I had an appt at 11am. Didn't get into the room until 1pm. Dr. Dirisio' s NP came in and took all of my info and we talked about my injury to my back. This appt was for a second opinion which my first Dr said I needed back fusion surgery. Dr. Dirisio didn't even check me out. He sat there telling me that he won't do surgery and I needed to exercise which was insulting! Try living with everyday back pain that limits me to do a lot of activities! He then began telling me that my PCP, my neurologist and my first Neuro surgeon didnt know what they were talking about. A little conceited much? Will go back to my first surgeon and stick with him. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Dirisio to my enemy!

My loved one is always waiting to see him, waiting for an appointment, waiting for him to show up at hospital and such. I guess because its stage 4 and not his loved one they can just wait.no relief, no prompt treatment, just wait

Appt was over an hr late. Arrived early and still waited over an hour.

Saved my motility! Love this man! I still hike, bike and work hard without pain!

He didn't even do an exam himself, completely dismissed my syptoms and MRI images and report. Diagnosed a code that had nothing to do with my symptoms. Don't waste your time.

Most compassionate and brilliant doctor I could have ever wanted.
