Dr. David Scott Asbery, MD

Dr Asbery is an off-the-charts caricature of people who talk too much and over share - in a way that's truly unhelpful for healthcare. Nonsensical metaphors, bragging about his car, pity for his Kentucky upbringing. I don't think he even knows what he says. In one appointment, he told me he wouldn't even do the surgery I needed on his own wife and said he would refer me to someone else in his office. The next appointment, he said he went to a conference and wants to do that surgery now, and refused to refer me. Never mind that you can barely follow his train of thought. The experience is baffling and I have little confidence in him and his practice. People say such nice things about him, but I think it's because he's such a lovable fool that he comes across as sincere - but that doesn't make him a good or smart doctor.

He is the best doctor I have ever been too. You can tell he really cares about you and will do anything to help you feel better or to give you the best possible outcome. As long as he is practicing in my area, I will be his patient and will recomend him to everyone!

Dr.Asbery is a wonderful surgeon and took excellent care of me! I cannot thank him enough. I had the bladder sling and it has worked beautifully!!! I also had a D&C and ablation and everything has been wonderful! I highly recommend Dr. Asbery's care. His staff is wonderful too. All are so kind! Thank you so much!

While carrying my first child, Dr. Asbery was my ob/gyn. He is personable doctor with an extraordinary bedside manner. He is a Christian which I like in a doctor who I am placing two lives in their hands. Through my pregnancy, he was very informative and put both my husband and myself at ease. While delivering my child, I was nervous (because it was my first!) but I was not scared because I had total confidence in him. Overall, you will never meet a doctor as great as him!
