Dr. David Edward Corbit, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Corbit for many years and have excellent results from him. His eye care is second to none and has done me very well over the years. As I am in my mid 60's, he informs me of all things that can degenerate over time proceeds to check for them, also family history is taken into account as well... Very happy with him..

Love this Doctor. He is a 5 Star Doctor all the way. He is kind, patient, explains in great detail, polite and professional. A class act in every way. He has cared for me and my children over the course of 40 years. So very sad when he announced his retirement to me today. I will miss him.

I’m done with this guy after many years and hoping it would get better. His patient ‘bedside’ manner is horrible and any diagnosis leaves me with the feeling it is my fault. His patient relationship is awkward at best and distant. The guy is a weird duck and I will be so glad to find another doctor. Please Dr Corbit, retire...it is time!!

I have seen Dr. Corbit a number of times and at each visit he would enter the room frazzled and confused. The first 5 minutes of each visit, he would confuse me with another patient and I would remind him that I'm another patient. It get's old. I was diagnosed by a DO who said I had two eye conditions, the DO referred me to a well know practice for a second opinion. At this second opinion visit, I was told by the doctor that I have dry eyes and I'm near and far sighted. There were no signs once so ever that I have a disease that would cause me to go blind. When I returned to the Do's office for a follow up, I was told that all I have is dry eyes and I'm near and far sighted. The Do has left the practice and now I have Dr. Corbit. I don't know where the mix up is because I have one doctor telling me I'm ok and another one who's telling me I have Macular Degeneration. So who's right? I'm very leery of him. He is good for some patients but not for me.

Appointment for 3:15, didn't get to see DR Corbit until 4:45 and he told me that he has no time for me, that he as an engagement at 5:30, he has to to leave right away. what, I time wasn't important! I waited for him so he could dismiss me while my eye is hurting and my eye lib is swallowing .
