Dr. David P Divita

After 13 years of providing my family service I was denied medical care because I am not capable of wearing a mask due to PTSD. I was allowed in by the receptionist, and then rudely harassed by the nurse who demanded I wear a mask or would be denied service. She refused find any other accommodations and refused to let me speak to my doctor. The next day, the office discharged me as a patient.

I've been a patient of Dr. DiVita for just over a year. He is very friendly and thorough and has always taken time to answer any questions I have. He even researched a supplement I was interested in taking to make sure it was safe with my medications. I never feel rushed or like he doesn't care; he makes me feel like he is concerned about my medical care and wants me to be healthy. It is true that it's nearly impossible to see him for an urgent matter, especially during winter season, but I've found I just go to an urgent care place or call Pinnacle to find a doctor that can see me if I need same-day care. Unfortunately, that's just the norm with doctors in Florida. I don't know of any family care physician that can actually see you same-day anymore. He responds well to messages through Pinnacle's health portal, too, which is helpful when I have a question between visits.

I think he might be an okay doctor, bit his bedside manner is aweful. Comes across like he couldn't care less.

It is very difficult to get in to see the Doctor. His staff is not very friendly and changes constantly. Never see the same staff each year. He's very knowledgeable if you can get in to see him. He has taken on too many patients therefore if you need to see him office tells you to go to urgent care. Also the phone system is really bad and you never get to speak to his office....usually an operator where you can leave a message for a return phone call. Something is wrong with this system.

Could have cared less, was TOTALLY RUDE in time of real medical concern, could not believe how badly we were treated ...

Never been to any other office that actually had me seen on time. Their process is effecient and managed to perform it in a personable manner. Dr. Divita has a friendly and helpful staff, and he is thorough. He takes time during the appt to answer questions. Basically, knows his stuff!!

In the year I went to this office I received no beneficial care. I would get tests done and the office would not call with results. I would be told excuses by staff why their follow up was so bad. Receptionist was rude and they were very slow to schedule appts. for tests and send specialists what they need. This Pinnacle System will also not let you transfer to another doctor. They are more concerned with the buddy system than they are with patient care.

Dr. Divita actually sits and LISTENS to what you say. He truly cares about you as a whole, not just to get you in and out of the office. I trust him.

Pays attention to concerns, thorough.

This was my first visit to Dr DiVita...the paperwork went smoothly and he was very attentive to my needs. Am looking forward to his continued care.
