Dr. David L Goss, MD

The first time I met Dr. Goss, he was joking about my wife's chest after a surgery that had gone an hour overtime. Apparently, a full hysterectomy is something he found hilarious. In the year after the surgery, he would suggest to my wife that she have sex with other men then divorce me, since she was still experiencing daily pain from his surgery, and laugh in her face. What kind of doctor does that? He would then refuse her care, refuse to release her medical records, and refuse referrals as she struggled in constant pain from his botched surgery. Imagine your wife, still reeling from a full hysterectomy that inexplicably ran an hour over, being met with a doctor's crude joke about her breasts. That was my introduction to Dr. Goss, and the beginning of a year-long nightmare. His laughter, echoing in the sterile recovery room as my wife bravely faced post-operative pain, was just the first sign of his appalling disregard for her humanity. During all this, Dr. Goss never once… thought to lay off the crude jokes, and directly insulting comments about her body, while refusing her care, refusing follow-up appointments, and blocking her from referral to proper care from any (competent) other doctor. This is not just a bad experience; it is a blatant disregard for patient well-being and a chilling display of unprofessional conduct that should not be tolerated by patents, the board, or federal oversight. I am unsure why this man is still allowed around sedated women, and assume it is only because he is supervised and not left alone with the unconscious woman.

I went to this visit for a hormone consultation. Dr. Goss spoke with me for 8 min., appeared to not be too interested in my concern regarding topic. I felt as if I was speaking to someone who carried themselves with the behavior of "been there / done that". Not interested in helping you navigate or find a solution to your medical questions or concerns. Ready to end the visit quickly. He informed he would provide a prescription & to wait in the room as he proceed to depart. I waited for 15 min. - no one came to follow-up for any next steps or prescription update. I decided to not continue to wait as I had to return back to work. Overall my experience and unfortunate impression is Doctors like this have poor bedside manners because they have been in their professions for too long and do not have high regard on how to interact & engage patients any longer. If that is the case then do your patients a favor and retire. I'm sure there are good sensible and compassionate Dr.s that hold their… patients in higher regard. I will certainly look for a 2nd opinion - either way, Good luck!

Terrible doctor .. seen this morning for ovarian cyst and he basically blew me off with a bad attitude. If you want to be berated in person this is your guy.

I have been going to Dr. Goss since 1994. I trust him implicitly. He’s beyond brilliant.

This "doctor" nearly cost me my life by being condescending and ignoring symptoms of postpartum pre eclampsia.

I have been going to Dr. Goss for over 20 years and he is always respectful, listen and answer any of my concern. He is a caring doctor/person. I am very happy that he is my doctor and will continue to see him year after year for as long as I can.

Made me feel completely comfortable. Plus he got along well with my husband. So glad he’s my doctor

Dr. Goss always takes me seriously and gets me tested when I have any symptoms. He never rushes me out. He is very good at answering my questions until I understand the answer. I appreciate the decor, real robe, warm instruments, and TV at the examining room.

OMG their office staff is unresponsive and rude. There is a lady named Tony that has no business dealing with the public, much less women dealing with health issues. I have never been treated like this by a medical professional in my life. Keep looking ladies, I would never recommend this group based on how I was treated. I should have read the reviews before going there as there are plenty of others with similar feedback. Unreal....

Dr.Goss is a GREAT doctor. He is very caring, and explained everything he was going to do BEFORE doing it. I was very comfortable with him. The office staff is also sweet.
