Dr. Simms is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Simms graduated with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. He then received his M.D. degree and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Simms began his practice in the Valley in 1989.
Dr. Simms is an active member of the Valley’s medical community and has served on numerous medical staff committees, including Chairman of the ENT Section at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Simms has numerous clinical publications and has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Docs†publication as one of the top ENT physicians in the Valley.
Dr. Simms resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Elizabeth. They have three children. Dr. Simms’ interests include: cycling, hiking, travel, and outdoor photography.
