Dr. James Edward Benecke JR., MD

After a debilitating episode of vertigo in 1997 which lasted well over six-weeks, I was blessed to have located Dr. James Benecke. After intensive testing and examination, Dr. Benecke diagnosed me as having Meniere's Disease. He worked with me in my efforts to continue my policing career. In the end, I simply felt uncomfortable carrying a firearm and I left the police department. Nearly two years later, Dr. Benecke called me out-of-the-blue and informed me of an improved device he felt would provide be sustained and substantial remediation of my vertigo. I underwent the surgery and am VERY glad I did. Over 15 years later, I partake in 85%-90% of the physical activities I enjoyed before my first Meniere's attack. If there were more stars available for his review, I'd give him every one. He continues to monitor my disease as I age. I have referred several people to his practice and they, too, experience a 'second-to-none' level of care. Thank you, Dr. Benecke.

Dr. Benecke performed the bilateral ear tube placement on my baby (9 months). He saw us promptly, was very courteous and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was very reassuring throughout the entire process and I trusted him completely. The surgery went fantastic and our follow up visit was great. He didn't seem rushed when he saw us, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Benecke is a very valued Dr. in my book! He is kind, a very good listener and truly cares about people! There are very few like him! I feel blessed to be his patient.

I was shocked to see negative reviews. They Must not come from a patient of Dr Benecke. He is the most kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and patient Dr. I have ever seen. Anyone who can be his patient is very blessed. I moved out of state, and doctors here do not have the expertise that Dr. BENECKE has, nor do they care. They do not have any experience with vertigo. I would be so thankful if I could be his patient again.

Dr. Benecke is a very kind, direct and knowledgable doctor. He is very busy so that is why the ease of appt. is not excellent. You do have to call early to get in unless it's urgent and he usually will talk to you or have his staff give you a message about what to do.

I was referred to him by a dr in the same building. And I couldnrt go wrong. He rebuilt my ear drum and it has been working from day one. When all other drs have failed. And a few months ago i had surgery for a bone anchored hearing aid. And dr Benecke is the best. He gave me my hearing back when i was told i would never have it back. He is very kind. And takes his time to talk to u. He explains everything he will do. I recommend him to everyone who needs an ent.

Absolutely terrible. He yelled at a staff member when I was in the office. He is very condescending and arrogant. I would not waste your time with him.

Dr. Benecke is an arrogant person. He talked down to me and acted like my complaints were not real. He spent no time with me and acted as if he had more important things to do.

Dr. Benecke and his staff were very friendly and helpful! I was late for my appointment, and I was planning on rescheduling. However, they fit me in that same day! Thanks for all your help!
