Dr. David Tesser, MD

Dr Tesser charged me over $25,000 for a ten minute procedure in the ER. There were two principle cuts on my forehead and nose. There was no advance information provided about the EXTREME costs. This was a classic “surprise medical bill.” Look closely at all reviews and you’ll see this is a pattern of behavior. And now, one year later, the scars are becoming only increasingly evident. I am happy to send pictures. I highly recommend against this provider (would have selected zero stars if possible).

I had dr.david tesser ,stich up my nose from a fall,i took 38 stiches,david was great..made be calm,nice bed side manner..i was very happy with the work he did..very nice man,and so far my results are very good in a short period of time..Iam a 45 year old man,I was so happy with his services,I would take my 2 kids to him,as I trust him

I discovered Dr Tesser a few years ago . I am extremely happy with how I was treated and with the work I received . I love the fact that it is a small very private practice . Highly recommend this office .

This surgeon was able to see my husband and fit him in to fix his stitches he had received 12 hrs before in an ER. We called him and within an hour we had seen him and the stitches were fixed to the best they could have possibly been.

Dr. Tesser charged my husband $8k as an out of network procedure in the ER 3 years ago. If you have had a similar issue, please share your story.

Dr. Tesser had put stitches in my face on two separate occasions, the first went fine however the second not so well. The second time took Tesser fifteen minutes, tops, to put the stitches in; However he has the audacity to say he deserves eleven thousand dollars for his work which we are still trying to figure out financially. Unless you yourself are on the wealthier side of life then more average families. I highly suggest consulting about the charges before you let the man anywhere near you.

The office is gorjeous, but, in a nutshell, the doc is awful and nasty. He humiliated me when I tried to tell hi my symptoms when they got going he did not believe me and said I was "making it up to try to get more time off". A day later when my face turned into a watermelon and my ankles swoled up he offered no treatments. He ;ater referred me to another doctor and when I got there that doctor said "he could not help me" I need to be taking care of by a plastic surgeon". Also Dr Tepper he do not want to help with my paperwork I need to keep my job. Very disappointed and disgusted. I think he only wanted to see my in the Emergency Room, make his money, and after that, he was "done with me". I do not call this world class medical care. and I pay a lot of moula for health insurance. God bless America.

My two sons were playing football with some friends and their heads collided causing a large gash over my younger son's eye that required stitches. We went to South Nassau ER and they asked if we wanted an ER doctor, plastic surgeon or our own care. Since it was his face, we ordered a plastic surgeon and Dr Tesser showed up. He has very mild mannered and spoke to my son to calm him down since he was in a lot of pain. He explained what he was going to do and what the post surgery process would be. This morning, I looked him up and see mixed feedback, so I'm praying that his wound will heal with minimal scaring. The cut is right above his left eyebrow. Stitches come out in about a week's time, but in the meantime, no football or any other physical activities. I hope to be back with positive feedback in the next 2 weeks.

DR. TESSER MADE ME AND MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER VERY COMFORTABLE. SHE NEEDED STITCHES ON HER FOREHEAD 12 TO BE EXACT. hE DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I THANK HIM VERY MUCH AND WOULD DEF RECOMMEND HIM.

I was in a fit after my 1 and a half yo son split his toe. Dr. T was waiting at the hospital for me. He was kind, happy to help, a regular guy. The staff assisting at the hospital were wonderful. They saw my son immediately and cooperated with each other like clockwork. A good experience for a bad situation.
