Dr. David William Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson – I’m not sure what Dr. Johnson you guys saw, but this one was worthless. I had been advised that the appointment would take about 30-45 minutes. First, they were over an hour late before I went into the room. Next, the nurse came in and reviewed my symptoms and vitals. Then, Dr. Johnson finally walked into the room. He did not ask me ONE question! He said I needed an x-ray and a gallbladder exam based upon what the nurse said. When I questioned him on this since I did not have any of the normal signs of gallbladder issues, he said and I quote: “Well, the nurse wrote down that you have gallbladder issues and I trust her!” What???? When I pushed for further clarification, he appeared annoyed and again said, “It’s what the nurse thinks your problem is.” Seriously! He never asked me one question about my symptoms! Further, he kept the door open during the entire time he was in the room. We were interrupted four times by nurses for him to sign off on… prescriptions! After seeing Dr. Johnson, I then had to wait another 45 minutes to see the chiropractor (who was awesome) before I could leave! This appointment ended up taking 3.5 hours of my time away from work! What a waste! At one point, I asked the nurse why this was taking so long. I advised that I had asked how long this appointment would approximately take so I could tell work how long I would be gone and was told 30-45 minutes. The nurse basically called me a liar and said that nobody there would have told me that! (I don’t make these things up!) If you are fine with a nurse making a decision on your treatment – this might be your place! If you want a doctor to diagnose you – don’t go see Dr. Johnson

I have been in pain management for over 10 years due to back injury.I have been to several doctors and have never found a more caring understanding doctor. He has sent me for MRIs, xrays, and to other doctors in the field to confirm my condition. He is never in a hurry and always has time for me.

Dr Johnson is a wonderful caring doctor. He reminds me of an old-fashioned doctor that truly cares, pretty rare in today's environment. The only problem is how long you need to wait for scheduling and a year is just so long between meeting times. I wish he had more time available for patients, he is very good.

Dr. Johnson is the most caring doctor I have ever found. I can tell that he truly cares and wants to help in any way possible. He is very thorough and never appears to be in a hurry with me.
