Dr. Denise Carol Semashko, MD

Awful experience with this provider. Went to the ER with ongoing and worsening miserable gastrointestinal symptoms (so far, I have GERD and IBS and am prediabetic AND gastro issues run in my family), had a CT scan and was diagnosed with a UTI with no other abnormalities somehow. She prescribed Cefdinir...an antibiotic rarely even used for UTIs and notorious for its agonizing GI side effects. A week later and I am feeling SO much worse; I cannot work, cannot sleep, cannot get out of bed, and certainly cannot afford to be rushed out of the hospital and told nothing serious is wrong with me yet again and go even further into medical debt. Terrible experience overall and I have no idea what else to do at this point. Seems I'm not the only one here who had a similar encounter. I just wish for once these ER docs would spend more than 2 minutes with me and actually listen to me because I cannot live like this anymore.

Worst experience ever. I was told by my doctor to go straight to the hospital because I was having appendix pain. I did. I got there just before 6pm. My results from my urine and blood were reviewed and entered by 6:09PM. I was called back for a CT scan by 8pm and the results were in by 9PM and verified by a radiologist at 11:51PM. At 7am I checked myself out of the hospital because the "provider still had no bed to give me my results". I was told that it was mild enough for me to be discharged and that all we were waiting on were the results to be given to me by the provider. I mean, there were triage rooms available. Use one of them. I literally sat there for 7 hours AFTER all my results were in AND VERIFIED wondering if I was dying because the provider didn't want to use a different room to talk to me in. They would rather sit behind the desk doing absolutely nothing and WAIT for a bed to open up even though there were only TWO housekeepers in the entire hospital. My results… were already in the system so MY provider could easily look at them herself and go over them with me. So, I made the decision to leave the hospital at 7am when my provider's office opened and go there instead.

Good, intelligent Doctor.

Worst hospital visit EVER. Provider was HORRIBLE. She was yelling at another young female doctor and belittling that poor woman. She’s very fortunate that young lady wasn’t my daughter. So very disgusted with Dr. Semashko. Seems like she needs to retire and have a psych eval. Only a miserable woman would treat another woman that terribly.

The doctor was extremely rude. Wonder how she still has a job. Must not be liked by many and would hate to be her husband if she is even married. Someone help this woman to see Jesus.

Took a while to be seen but Dr. Semashko seemed to know what she was doing and took care of me quickly (when I finally got seen). N/a for follow up since it’s an ER?

My worst experience with a M.D. in 60 years.
