Dr. Dominick Zangari JR., MD

This is a very professional and organized practice. Runs on time, everyone so nice. Had cataract surgery and could not be happier with results.

DrZangari does no listen and is quick to make assumptions. His office staff who are the only good thing about this office try their best but he is always in a rush. He makes up his mind and is defensive when asked questions. He often charges for unneeded out of pocket tests but fails to explain options. He is especially rude to women and even his office staff agrees.

Was a patient for several years; had liked and respected him. I recently questioned him about a billing practice that I subsequently found out had been going on for years. I questioned him about this questionable and seemingly unorthodox billing methods. He called his insurance company who then, on his behalf, fired me on voice mail. Nice. Fast forward to these past few days. My new provider has left multiple unanswered voice mails. Until his office returns the phone call, I can't help but wonder if my medical records are being withheld. Stay tuned.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zangari's for over eighteen years, and have always found him to be professionally courteous and respectful. He takes the time necessary to explain problems and treatments completely, and to answer all questions. I consider him to be an extremely skilled physician and surgeon. I have, and will continue to recommend him to others.

While taking my grandmother to get an eye exam for the first time in a while, the negative, rude, and entitled attitudes of the staff ruined the experience. My grandmother is almost completely deaf and has trouble understanding what others are saying as a result. The minute we walked in, we were greeted with an impatient attitude from the nurse and the doctor, as a result of my grandma not clearly understanding what they were saying. The doctor was condescending and asked me if my grandmother had “dementia” because of her inability to understand his fast paced and confusing directions. Mind you, this was her first appointment with them. Ever. So, she was a brand new patient who had no previous experience with their practice. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience and it seemed to me that they were just trying to get us in and out. We will never be taking her back.

The office staff were very prompt in scheduling me and were very helpful throughout the entire process. I waited little to no time, the woman at the front desk was very polite as was the woman who checked me in (completed eye scans, ran through my symptoms, etc.). Dr. Zangari was very thorough and made sure I understood what my problem was and his reasoning for the scripts he gave me. He was personable and very helpful. Very clean office and an overall great environment. Many of these reviews seem outdated and simply absurd.

Dr. Zangari performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes 3 months apart. I was very happy with the whole experience. I found Dr. Zangari and his staff courteous , professional and organized. I had surgery in the morning and was able to go out to lunch . It was painless , quick and much easier than I expected , and with wonderful results. I would recommend Dr Zangari .

Quick diagnosis and very thorough. Very personable, unlike some reviews I read. If a person can't get along with this man they are socially difficult. Staff and office are exceptional.

The most rude person I every met in my life.He talks down to you and yells demands sorry I every went to him.Will never go back or refer anyone to him.

Diagnostic skills are good. But... having his dog run around the office is not at all professional. They won't allow you to have a cup of coffee in the exam room, but the dog can drag its genitals all over the rug.
