Dr. Kelly Douglas Green, MD

My life has very much been interrupted! After a 9 month wait just to get an appointment with Dr. Green, he confirmed my need for back surgery but refused to perform it, insisting that I needed to loose 100 lbs first. I knew this was an impossible task for me to accomplish - I had tried so many times and failed. I was crushed and so very upset. My pain was completely debilitating! At this point I believed he had given me a life sentence of misery. There was not a hint of compassion or empathy from Dr. Green - he left the room as quickly as he had entered. With the aid of bariatric surgery I did loose 100+ lbs and returned to Dr. Green exactly 1yr from my first visit. Now my back had deteriorated to the point that he was unable to do the surgery. That was 4-1/2 yrs ago. - I found a surgeon 6 months later but in the interim osteoporosis was discovered and needed to be reversed before doing the surgery. My bones are still not strong enough for surgery, and my spine has deteriorated… from needing 3 vertebrae fused, to needing 5 fused. If I am lucky, I may be able to have a life again in about 18 months. -- That's 6 years from my first meeting with Dr. Green!! I thought physicians take an oath to "do no harm". ....What is 6 years worth to you??

I started treatment with this office and when needed a follow-up was told it would be months. I was told only his nurse makes appointments and then when spoke to the office manager quickly learned she needed customer service training. Called again for an appointment for a condition he has been treating me for and was told I had to wait 4 months to get back in. If you're in pain, I would not recommend this office.

If you are required to see this doctor, "RUN" don't walk, but RUN away. He does not see his patients and his office does not follow up on test that his head nurse schedules. They prefer to mask problems instead of fixing the problem. If you do happen to see the doctor for a minute or two consider yourself lucky, I'm not sure he exists.

I too have been waiting for six months to see this doctor. I made an appointment and ended up seeing his nurse practitioner, whom I was unaware that I would see. After being charge almost $300.00 to see someone that never even touched me, I was told I needed to do another MRI, xrays, and nerve conduction test. My appointment was made for four months later to see the doctor. I called for result and was told that I would have to wait till I saw him to get results, which was scheduled for four months out. My appointment with him has been canceled, by him, three times and now being told that he can't see me till after the 1st of the year. Best part is when they called to cancel they didn't even set up an appointment for me for after the 1st of January. It's been a week since they canceled and still no call for my next appointment. Well to say the lease I am looking for a new doctor. Most doctors won't see you if you cancel 3 times on them. I wouldn't see him now if he did it for free.
