Outstanding service and a great doctor

Dr. Shea Samara and his staff are very caring, compassionate, and efficient. Everyone in the office that I encountered was kind and professional. Very clean and relaxing environment! Highly recommend!

Toward the end of 2016 I was in terrible shape. The result of radiation treatment for Prostate Cancer had misfired and burned up my bladder. After TWENTY TERP surgeries to "clean out" my bladder, I got progressively worse. After getting much worse, I went to the same hospital that did the surgeries, to their Emergency Room to tell them I was going to die, I just felt it and needed immediate help. They looked at me AND.... They simply told me to go home. Thankfully my wife, told my primary care doctor and he called Shea Samara and told him of my dilemna. I went to see him and he changed his schedule to get me in surgery for a bladder removal very quickly and re-routing of my urinary tract. After a 6 1/2 hour surgery, I now have a Urostomy bag, but am pain free and alive. I was told, later, I was about a week from bleeding to death. Thank heavens for my wife, primary care Doctor and Dr. Shea Samara, Three years later, I am fine. AND I will never go back to that Southside hospital… ....>EVER. Joe McIntosh

Excellent physician, personable and to-the-point..

I just had Dr. Shea Samara remove kidney stones for me. He is top notch. He took time to explain my overall situation at the office visit with great patience and openness for any questions I had. His staff was extremely helpful with getting pre-certification from my insurance company and answered any administrative type questions I had prior to surgery. They also helped with documentation so I could get permission to telework during my recovery time post surgery if I was feeling up to doing that. The surgery went really well, and again, he took the time to explain everything to me about the procedure the very next morning. He has a great bedside manner and I am so glad he did my surgery. I would highly recommend him.

Compassion towards patient. Excellent care and treatment

Dr Shea was excellent at explains the procedure and brought me through the process feeling safe and sucure . Follow up care was excellent as well

Great physician and very organized staff. My daughter needed a kidney transplant & I was her donor so we were at their office for several months going through the process and then weekly post-op visits! I would highly recommend him to anyone
