Dr. Elias Kassapidis, MD

Amazing Doctor and I’ve been going to him for years. I finally had surgery and it was the best ever. I would have done it years ago if I only knew. His mannerisms are awesome and he really makes you feel comfortable rather then nervous. I totally appreciate his skills in the field!!

very uncaring office, no one ever return phone calls.

Sadly, Dr. Kassapidis is arrogant, rude, uncaring and an incompetent person. He spends about 30 seconds with you and does not encourage any questions. When it comes to following up with his patients, it takes him about 4 weeks to return a phone call about your test results that came in 6 weeks ago. His incompetent office reflects his own attitude as well. They also have a bad attitude They don't even pretend to care about their patients. They only care about money $ and it's obvious--they only take cash and credit cards. Dr. K. even had the audacity to say, "We don't get paid enough from insurance companies to care." Dr. Kass. first told me the tests that were given were OK then a month later, he said they were never even run by the lab. He wanted to charge you another co-payment for their incompetence. Very disorganized office. Your calls always go to VM and you don't get a return call. His medical assistant, Melissa R. is as rude as the Dr is. You can tell she hates her job and takes… it out on you. This is the acceptable culture of the Riverside facility. If you tell him about his rude assist. he doesn't even acknowledge your complaint or care b/c he probably trained her to be that way. Please stay clear of this place and him. I guarantee you they will cause you a lot of frustration over and over again. They will not treat you with respect and concern. They are a cold and uncaring bunch who do not act professional or caring at all. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place and find another Dr. and facility.

He cares for his patients. He is very professional and pleasant. He explains your diagnosis and procedure so you understand. I had both my knees replaced and was completely satisfied. I rave to everyone I know about Dr. Kassipidis. He is the best in orthopedic surgery.

The doctor did not thoroughly examine a knee, regardless of an MRI stating an ACL tear, after an exam he said it was not torn and recommended physical therapy. After PT for three weeks, the knee was hurting so I set up an appointment with a different doctor in the same office who immediately ID'd the torn ACL. I then sought a third opinion at a separate office, and used that third office for surgery. Dr. Kassapidis spent little time answering questions, improperly diagnosed a very common injury and delayed my surgery as a result. I regret that I did not research him further before setting up the appointment.
