Dr. Eugene Anthony Mangieri, MD

i am an amputee and in incredible pain. i was referred by my wound care doctor. i have medicare,medicaid,and humana. after weeks of trying to get an appointment, the receptionist finally called me but refused service unless i paid 300.00 dollars first. there must be some misunderstanding.

Dr Mangieri is the most knowledgeable physician I have. He is caring and seems to always have my total health in mind. The only complaint I have is the lack of privacy in his office. He needs a better exam room.

I have been coming to Dr. Mangieri for about 3 years now. He is a no non-sense straight the point kind of doctor. He is also a very kind as well as caring doctor who not only takes care of your pain, but monitors your heart/blood pressure/etc and tries his best to help you with some "preventive maintenance" for your body. He is the best doctor in the Tuscaloosa/Northport , AL area in my opinion! May God bless Dr. Eugene A. Mangieri and his wonderful staff for all their hard work!

Wonderful doctor, truly cares for his patients and tries to help control your pain issues to the best of his ability!

I was a patient of Dr Mangieri for three years. This man is a quack and operates one of the largest narcotic pill mills in Alabama. I'm surprised that the DEA hasn't prosecuted him and shut him down .

Doesn't understand breakthrough pain.

He has always been nice to me been going to him for about 12 yrs. He's the only doctor that helped my triginymal neurolgia I was in a lot of pain before saw him and am 90%bettet now The only complaint is waiting time which can be 2-4 hrs

If you are in pain, be prepared to sit in some of the worst possible chairs and wait for HOURS to be seen, if our appointment is at 8am, you might see him by 2 or 3 if you are lucky. When you fill out paperwork for meds primary care doctor has you on, or if you are on ANY anti depressants or anxiety meds he will completely screw up your meds as though he knows all about psychiatric meds and send end up getting you sent to the nut house to get the straightened out again. Wants to be your daddy and tell you, you can't smoke cigarettes too. Don't ask how you are since last visit, it's like herding cattle, the more patients he packs in and slings out, the more money he makes.... no thank you! He also LOVE to get you addicted to methadone... I will never take that crap again as long as I live!!!!

Exceptionally good at diagnosis. He found an illness I was unaware of and helped me find an excellent specialist. He is personable,not distant as are many physicians. He has treated my illness appropriately with a positive outcome. I took my husband to see him and he has the same impression. I would and have recommended him to friends who also found him to be exceptional.

YOU WILL WAIT ANYWHERE FROM 2 TO 5 HOURS IN DOCTORS OFFICE BEFORE YOU SEE HIM
