In my opinion, Dr. Sikora embodies a rare combination of analytical brilliance, profound empathy, and effective communication. She is deeply present during sessions, and draws from vast knowledge spanning theories, cultures, and traditions. Her insights and perspectives have been transformative. It is a gift to work with her.

Dr. Sikora is one of the most compassionate psychiatrists I have met in my life. Meeting her was a life changing experience for me. She was able to help me to go deep into the roots of my problems. She has ability for deep listening. Her analytical skills as well as broad knowledge of different treatment approaches is a gift to all her patients. She is very intuitive and many times I was surprised how, in retrospect, her intuition helped me in guiding to overcome my issues I had been struggling for years when I was in therapy with another practitioner. She a gift to all her patients.

Dr. Eva Sikora is a healer. She is intuitive and empathetic. She has a warm and respectful manner that engenders confidence. She communicates clearly. A consummate professional, Dr. Sikora has expertise in a range of therapeutic modes, allowing her to tailor her approach to each patient. I have seen many psychiatrists over the course of my life, and I count Dr. Sikora as among the most compassionate, kindest, and most supportive. I have seen her for long periods of time for medication management. In that context, she is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about how the meds are helping, always willing to adjust or change things as needed. I have also seen her for psychotherapy, and she has helped me through some of the hardest periods of my life. She listens carefully, and I feel safe as I figure out what direction to go in. She is a very genuine person, and I trust her completely with a part of my life that has sometimes been very painful.

I have had the good fortune of working with Dr. Sikora since 2005; at first, we worked together on monitoring my medication, but in 2007 I began psychotherapy with her. Dr. Sikora has all the qualities and qualifications I wanted in a psychiatrist; she is extremely well-trained and experienced, a consummate professional with the highest ethical standards, and she has a warm, calming, and grounded presence. She is unfailingly kind and compassionate, an outstanding active listener, completely non-judgmental, and very insightful. Dr. Sikora acts as a real partner, holding the space for the patient to do the work they need to do. She never gave me the all answers, even when I desperately wanted them handed to me; she knew I needed to do my own emotional work—especially when it was challenging for me—but she never pushed too hard or left me unsupported. Dr. Sikora is a true healer who is deeply committed to and respectful of her patients and the process of psychotherapy.

I've been seeing Dr. Sikora for a few years, and I really like her. She's mild-mannered, thoughtful, and empathetic. She's very knowledgeable about psychiatric issues and medications. Unlike some other doctors I've seen in the past, she genuinely respects my feedback on how I'm responding to (or had previously responded to) certain medications. For example, if I had a bad side effect from a medication in the past, before I was her patient, she respects my feedback as valid. When any medication changes are discussed, it's a two-way conversation. There are a lot of psychiatrists out there who don't really listen to and/or respect the patients they're supposed to be helping, and that's so unfortunate because it turns people off from seeking the help they need. Dr. Sikora is someone who respects and values my feedback, and that's a very important quality for any type of physician to have.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sikora's for over five years. As a psychiatrist, she effectively prescribes and manages medications, often a complex task on its own. Her style is warm, engaged and empathetic. I would recommend her to anyone who is going through an emotional crisis and who is seeking a skilled healthcare partner.
