Dr. Evelyne Schuetz, MD

Dr. Schuetz delivered my son at Progress West. I was a high risk pregnancy, and she was by my side every step of the way. She took the time to make calls personally to me. She was sure to make to time to see me each time I came in. She came in on her day off to not only check on me once while I was in the hospital, but came back to deliver my son. Having her there was an immediate relief for me as a first-time mom, and truly meant the world to me to have her deliver him! She could have easily let the on-call doctor deliver my baby, but she was there for us. Wonderful bedside manner. Speaks with you in great detail & ensures you feel comfortable & at ease. Forever grateful to Dr. Schuetz! Her staff is also so kind & helpful - they all became like friends to us!

She is the literal Only reason I have my son- the love of my life. Without her riding in on her white horse my baby would be dead due to hospital staff/nurse incompetence... for 24 straight hours. I am forever and eternally grateful. B4 the kiddo I loved her personality and demeanor- after kiddo she exists in my mind as the doctor version of Rambo...

Dr. Schuetz was always friendly. I saw her for my entire pregnancy, and In the beginning, I was sure that I was in the right hands. Towards the end of my pregnancy and after my delivery, I felt completely different. Firstly, at the end of my pregnancy, I was waiting for up to an hour to even step foot in the office- leading me to believe that she was overbooked with patients. My second experience solidified those feelings when she sent out lab work/ultrasound and never looked over it until I mentioned it to her at my following appointment... Even after the fact that I called the office to check on my results and the receptionist told me she would get back to me prior to my next appointment. Furthermore, she began talking about induction before I had even reached my due date... And lastly, I faced post-partum hemorrhage due to retained placenta. In return, Dr. Schuetz did not perform my D&C until the next morning knowing that she did not get to inspect my placenta after delivery for any… missing pieces... Maybe I would not have been so upset, but she openly admitted at my 6-week checkup that she, "never got the chance to look at my placenta because the nurses threw it out before she had the chance to." I will not return to her due to these many reasons.

Dr. Evelyne Schuetz is the most kind, caring doctor I've ever met. My only regret is that she wasn't around when I delivered my children. She always has time for you.

I have been her patient for 21 yrs. She is the best GYN physician ever. You can not ask for a better doctor. The whole staff is wonderful!!

I've been seeing the nurse practitioner for years and I love her! No, she's not cuddly, but I dig her personality. What works for some doesn't work for others. I've always found her to be extremely sensitive to my anxiety issues, and I'm thankful for her quick exams. The staff on the other hand has always been a problem. The old location, the new location, doesn't matter. The receptionists have always been rude and not bright. Every time I call, they do something wrong. It's painful.

I haven't been able to book with or see the doctor in years. In spite of booking annuals a year in advance. When I called today, the receptionist Lisa, was unexpectedly huffy as soon as she answered. As soon as I described pain I was having she immediately started asking me anatomy questions to briskly rule out my need for an appointment. Lisa was playing dr and it was clear she just didn't want to deal with patients. This attitude spreads to their voicemail, which is unclear, doesn't provide hours, doesn't mention the date and repeatedly routes patients away from the office. Lisa wrapped up by saying the doctor was on vacation, then said the other practioner was slammed (like a Denny's restaurant...) And diagnosed my pain as not related to obgyn...again she's the receptionist...horrible. My advice as a former patient -Go elsewhere.

I love Dr. schuerz but her nurse practitioner kim weiss is rough, hurried and rude. She actually hurt me during the pap exam which hasnt happened to me before so I know it's avoidable. She would ask questions and not bother to let me finish a sentence, medicines that she apparently handles for dr schuetz are not called out as requested. You have to call a second time to follow up. I think the doctors in the practice need to review why they ave a substandard nurse practitioner while dr. Schuetz provides such a different standard of care. I'm either switching offices or scheduling well in advance to avoid seeing Kim Weiss the nurse practitioner. Very sorry to be negative about someone but I couldn't help but exress my disappointment and issue a warning to potential patients!

I was a patient of Dr. Evelyn Schuetz for several years; however, I primarily saw the nurse practitioner, Jaimee Puckett. I had an abnormal pap in 2010 and was very disturbed by the lack of communication regarding the results of it as well as the follow-up procedure. I had to call the office several times to find out my results; each time I was on hold for 10-15 minutes. I found the office to be antiquated, the staff to be overly busy and unprofessional. I had to literally beg the information out of the Dr. and nurse. I was given a pamphlet which seemed as if it was from 1970! I was so disturbed, I switched Doctors. Iâ??m writing this review now because 3 years later I called the office to find out dates of my services. After being on hold for more than 10 minutes, I was told my chart would have to be pulled but that I would get a call back the same day. I never received a call back. I called again the next week and spoke with Vicki. She gave me some information off my… chart, but when I asked questions she said that I should have been given this information 3 years ago. I was â?? but what a rude and unprofessional answer! I simply wanted to be refreshed about my very important and personal medical records! She said she could fax me a release and send me the information. I told her I was calling to have it explained to me and not read information I didnâ??t understand. She literally said she didnâ??t have time for me today. I asked if a nurse could call me back and she said she would do that. She was very snarky and VERY RUDE and unprofessional. If this office is so busy that they cannot staff enough employees to answer patient questions professionally and not keep people on hold for 10-20 minutes a call, then maybe they should think about cutting back their patient load. I would NEVER recommend this office!
